A Certain Unscientific Shinken Green

[Main story complete, bonus chapters dropping at random]

As a samurai who commands the power of the Wood character, Tani Chiaki helped his comrades defeat the Outlaw Group, led by Blood Offering Lamentation. Even after saving the world, he still had to continue his studies. Not long after leaving the Shiba household, his unreliable dad packed him off to school.

...But it was the police academy.

Let's randomly interview a few people in the know about Shinken Green's colorful life:

[Informant No. 1]

Matsuda: Hahahaha, what era is this, and you still have retainers? Hahahaha!

Matsuda: Wait, you're serious?

[Informant No. 2]

Hagiwara: I met a cute girl, an acquaintance of Chiaki's. At first, I thought she was his little sister or something.

Hagiwara: But Chiaki said she was his friend's... mother?

[Informant No. 3]

Furuya: The organization told me to investigate the lord of the Shiba family. I looked through the file and realized I knew him. Chiaki used to hang out with us back then.

Furuya: So this is that guy who's afraid of ghosts.

[Informant No. 4]

Date: Chiaki suddenly disappeared for a while, and none of us could find him.

Date: Later he said he'd been dragged off for a team-building retreat... Though I vaguely heard him muttering something about Riders and Sentai, senpais and juniors. I really don't get it.

[Informant No. 5]

Morofushi: After my identity was exposed, I ran into Chiaki. He said he knew a place where I could hide my identity perfectly.

Morofushi: Then I became a Kuroko of the Shiba family. In a way, it really was the perfect disguise. No one could tell who I was.

1. The protagonist is Shinken Green from the tokusatsu series Samurai Sentai. I'll do my best to make it understandable for readers who haven't seen the original!

2. The main tokusatsu series covered is Shinkenger. Characters from other Sentai or Kamen Rider series may make cameos, but they won't have much plot relevance, just brief appearances.

3. A lighthearted daily-life story with no conspiracy theories. Since I don't want to power-creep the Detective Conan original storyline by exploiting the different worlds, this story won't involve the main Detective Conan black-versus-red plotline. It's mainly about a bunch of people laughing and having fun.

4. It probably won't be long. I wanted to write some fun scenes, so I'm writing on a whim to promote Samurai Sentai. Once I've written the ideas I want, it'll end. I'm writing freely without doing much research, so if there are any plot holes... You don't need to know the Super Sentai details that well!

5. Sorry for the OOC. Everyone has a different interpretation of the characters, so please be kind if you disagree.

6. Samurai Sentai is really, really good. Please go watch it. Ryunosuke will do anything if you do. (?)

And a final plug for upcoming stories:

[Wuxia Crossover] After Scamming the Flying Swordsman: It's perfectly reasonable for the disciple of the Flying Swordsman to get together with the former top enforcer of the Gold Coin Gang's disciple, right?

After Starting Life Over in the Asahina Household: After I was reincarnated with thirteen brothers, one night when I was in elementary school, I suddenly "gave birth" to an egg. That's when I realized something was seriously off.

Thoroughly Ordinary, Preparatory Course: I'm really just an ordinary preparatory course student. Original protagonist x Oma.

Theme: Head toward a future of endless possibilities.
