Tsuruta Yusuke is an ordinary high school student. One day, he gets bound to a livestream System and starts broadcasting his daily life. Tsuruta Yusuke thinks his days are boring and there's nothing worth streaming, but the people in the chat don't agree.

They think the world Tsuruta Yusuke lives in and the things he experiences are fascinating.

The big picture: Aliens eyeing Earth like it's the plot of a manga, monsters appearing one after another, and Tiga protecting Earth and humanity.

The small picture: All kinds of urban legends, too many to keep up with.

Amid the strange and fantastic mix of worlds on both scales, Tsuruta also uses Oshikiri's house to travel to various parallel worlds. There, he discovers countless giants like Tiga, not to mention all kinds of aliens and monsters.

Shocking!

Is Tsuruta really not going to write an adventure novel based on his own life called The Adventures of Tsuruta Yusuke?

Watching Tsuruta being chased by all kinds of aliens, monsters, and urban legends, the viewers pray that he has personal accident insurance. No, they pray he'll make it through alive and well.

Wild, from the Victory Team, has a childhood friend whose life signs are unstable.

They call his life signs unstable because he keeps going through things that would kill most people several times over. But Tsuruta is tough and keeps surviving. Lately, though, he seems to be in mortal danger: the Crow People kidnap him, urban legends target him, he can travel through time, then aliens and urban legends start hounding him, and he travels through time again...

Wild feels like his childhood friend is doomed.

Selected live chat comments:

[No way, the giant Tiga!]

[Your childhood friend is the computer genius Wild?]

[Help, the streamer has been kidnapped by the Crow People and is going to be forced to work on an alien planet.]

[Wild said you're a walking disaster, hahaha.]

[It looks like an urban legend has its eye on you!]

[Oshikiri's house connects to multiple otherworldly spaces?]

[Another giant? Z's departure was so cool.]

[Oh wow, there are so many Ultra Giants in all those spaces.]

[Ahhhhh, the aliens attacking Earth are here! Run!]

[A high-tech racing car?]

[Watch out for the young man driving the ice cream truck!]

Reader's Guide:

1. The protagonist is a background character in the Ultraman world, viewing everything from an ordinary person's perspective. No romance, no pairing!

2. This won't be a direct Ultraman-world crossover mash-up. I haven't watched many of the shows and am worried about mistakes, so the story only observes things from an ordinary person's point of view.

3. The world includes Ultra Giants, urban legends, and anime characters.

4. This is a slice-of-life story, not a battle story. If you want to see the protagonist become a superhero and defeat monsters, you can click away.

5. The timeline is all over the place. Please don't nitpick.

6. The cover features a custom character design by artist Shisuim Finch, licensed for online use. The character in the source material is tape. [Special note]

The Thing About Muzan's Childhood Friend Being Gintoki

Blurb:

[A prompt from 2022. Opening this as a future project.]

At first, Muzan didn't care about Gintoki, because Gintoki had nothing he envied. But when illness ravaged him, he grew jealous of Gintoki's body, his outlook on life, and the warmth that always shone in his eyes.

It shouldn't be like this.

"You should accept death honestly."

"Why should I?! I absolutely refuse!"

Muzan hates Gintoki. They grew up together, yet the other man can't wait for him to die.

But when Gintoki carries him, terrified of sunlight, off to search for the Blue Spider Lily, the proud, strong-willed Muzan realizes that he may have fallen for this man long ago. The man who says strange things, has no ambition, and spends his days in lazy indolence.

He recovers his health.

And then...

He and Gintoki travel to Sakata Gintoki's world.

The tiny Yorozuya office is smaller than his bedroom.

Muzan, who has always had money and never wanted for food or clothes, is so overwhelmed by their dire circumstances that he almost shuts down.

"You're going to have to get used to this sort of thing."

"What?"

"Getting used to being poor."

"...Gintoki, go die."

Gintoki's rules for looking after Muzan:

1. Undermine him

2. Leave him hanging

3. Pat his head

4. Keep patting his head (and, if possible, swipe some money)

Theme: Stay positive and live optimistically.
