The Girl Group Audition Contestant Cut in the First Edit

After competing in six survival shows, she came back and was still a nobody.

No one on Douban had even heard of her, she had no Weibo supertopic, and her fans across the entire internet didn’t even add up to ten thousand.

After repeatedly hitting a wall, Shu Xing finally realized, far too late: popularity had nothing to do with talent. A little fame came from being promoted; major fame came down to fate.

With no one backing her and no luck, she deserved to be obscure to the depths of the earth.

But she refused to accept her fate.

At a commercial performance, Shu Xing was a backup dancer when she accidentally fell from a rising stage. When she opened her eyes again, she had returned to the year she was nineteen, when she competed in her first survival show. She didn’t know that her world was actually a novel: The Fake Heiress Takes Center Stage in a Girl Group Survival Show.

The novel’s heroine, the fake heiress, was Yuan Zhiyao, Shu Xing’s teammate in the first group performance. Although she was surrounded by scandals and no one expected much from her, she shot to fame with a classical solo dance. Later, her tragic yet beautiful persona won her countless fans, and she eventually debuted as the undisputed center, becoming the most valuable female entertainer.

And on that very stage, Shu Xing had faded into the background and been eliminated.

If the heavens had given her another chance, it had to be for a reason.

This time, when the instructor asked the same question again, “Your group is too weak. We can only replace this synchronized dance section with a solo. Who wants to do it?”

Shu Xing knew that without the solo section, there was nothing worthwhile about this stage. Apart from Yuan Zhiyao, every member of their group had been eliminated before the second live show

She spoke before Yuan Zhiyao could.

The heavens must have given her another chance so she could make up for every stage she had once regretted.
