Little Mountain God

[Also known as: My Husband Was Blown Up, and Now I'm the Mountain God!]

Yu Lu had been frail and sickly since childhood. When she fell gravely ill at the age of ten, her desperate parents tried every possible remedy. Through the introductions of a local fake immortal, they married her off to... a huge rock deep in the forest behind their village.

Unexpectedly, after marrying the rock, she made a full recovery. She could run, jump, tear the house apart, and eat three bowls of rice in one sitting.

Yu Lu gave in. Fine, a rock it is.

But life is full of surprises. Before her eighteenth birthday, when the two of them were supposed to make their marriage official, a construction crew working in the hills decided the huge rock was in their way and blew it up.

Yu Lu: ...My husband got blown up?!!

*

That day, every spirit creature sleeping in the forest suddenly heard the same heavenly decree in their minds: The stone stele symbolizing the position of Mountain God has fallen. The competition to become the next Mountain God begins now.

The spirits with designs on the position rubbed their hands together. If they could get their hands on that human fiancee, they would become the new Mountain God!

What the spirits never expected was that the human fiancee they had dismissed was rubbing her hands together, too.

Yu Lu, getting excited: My husband's been blown up, so it's my turn to take his place!

Pairing undecided, but it should be childhood friends.

Theme: Opportunity favors the prepared!
