[Signed for a print edition. For updates on the exact progress, follow @WeiWoJiu59] Xue Wuyi is transported into a wasteland world rife with contamination. Humanity must venture into contaminated zones to deal with all kinds of bizarre entities. Xue Wuyi: I’ve seen this episode before. As long as I awaken an ability, I can become the protagonist who slaughters everyone in my path. So she struggled for seven years and finally got into the First Military Academy. Just like every protagonist, she took the entrance assessment. Good news: Her mental strength was an unprecedented S+, so she hadn’t let the protagonist title down. Bad news: She hadn’t awakened an ability, and her limbs were severely uncoordinated, so she could only say goodbye to her dream major. She had mental strength, but it was useless. Xue Wuyi: … Heavens, are you messing with me? * Xue Wuyi mourned the loss of her dream and accepted her reassignment to the Command Department. In this age of intelligent technology, the ability users of the apocalypse were accustomed to having AI assign their combat roles, making the Command Department practically a sunset major. The bizarre zones were treacherous and unpredictable, with ever-changing rules. Even commanders struggled to discern any patterns. At first, everyone felt sorry for Xue Wuyi. But during a mission, while gravely wounded, she suddenly awakened an ability A health bar appeared above the head of the indescribable bizarre entity in her field of vision! Xue Wuyi: ? That wasn’t all. Double-tapping her right eyelid let her see a monster’s level, resistances, weaknesses, and more. Xue Wuyi: … At last, this world has gone as mad as I always hoped it would. She sprang up from her slacker’s sprawl and shouted, “Everyone, follow my orders!” I don’t care what kind of indescribable thing you are. If you dare show me your health bar, I’ll kill you! * Later, a legend spread throughout the Alliance. As long as Commander Xue is here, we’ve got this in the bag. She’s a being who plans more flawlessly than the supercomputer, the undisputed top commander. She always takes the last drop of blood from the alien species in the most precise and artful way. She will be the one to kindle the spark of the new humanity. ① A strong female lead and plot-focused story, with episodic arcs. ② An apocalyptic wasteland setting with a mix of elements and a world of my own making. ③ I generally don’t read or interfere with the comment section, but if I see comments mentioning other specific authors, I’ll delete them. Theme: Humanity will prevail.
