A Bystander Reader Just Wants the Novel to End

One day, Imperial high school student Zeng Buxiu suddenly awakened a System and discovered that the world he lived in was made up of many novels. The girl in front of him was the protagonist of Conquering the Stars Starts at School. She slept during the day and, at night, her soul traveled back to the imperial palace, where she played out a nine-cat struggle for the throne. His homeroom teacher was the protagonist of The Mermaid Heals the Empire Through Livestreaming. After work every day, she still had to comfort her tens of billions of viewers. The top student by the window was the villain in Mecha Prodigy. She secretly fought in underground matches after school every day and was about to be set up, sending her down the path of corruption. The underachiever in the front row was even more remarkable: she was the protagonist of Mecha Prodigy, and was about to witness the beginning of the years-long entanglement between the two... The worst part was that some of these novels had terrible endings, some had plot disasters, and some had gone on indefinite hiatus. Zeng Buxiu: "?" So I was the only ordinary passerby. That would be bad enough, but what did I do to deserve being forced to read so many unfinished novels? * As an enthusiastic reader, Zeng Buxiu had no choice but to step in and keep the plots on track. When the girl in front of him skipped class, he thoughtfully covered for her. When the mecha villain was badly injured, he took her from the black market to the hospital. When the teacher was about to have her identity exposed, he drew the reporters away for her... Doing a good deed every day, while keeping his good work a secret. In the end, every story reached a satisfying conclusion. The Imperial Empress: The only person I've ever truly considered a sister is my classmate, Zeng Buxiu. The Two Mecha Generals: If it weren't for Zeng Buxiu, we never would've made peace. The Chief Healer: It was my student Zeng Buxiu's encouragement that kept me livestreaming. The people of the universe: It was all thanks to Zeng Buxiu that our plane of existence didn't go to hell! Zeng Buxiu, an ordinary reader passing by, quietly walked past the media lights and microphones. Do you believe me? I really just wanted to see the novels reach their endings. Saving the world? Just something I did along the way. (Puts on sunglasses.) * 1. The heroine is an ordinary passerby, not a strong female lead, but as you can see, this novel has the strongest female-lead content in the author's history (doge). 2. Probably a lighthearted story, though all kinds of old-school melodramatic plots may appear. 3. All-female world, with lots of original worldbuilding. Theme: Creating miracles through the ordinary.
