[Late Qin] The Founder

In one sentence: This is a novel that goes beyond the Qin-era revolution.

The Qin has lost the deer, and all under heaven are chasing after it.

This is a turning point in history, an evolution of civilization, and a chance for all who came before to open a new chapter and carve it into history.

The rites of Zhou have fallen into ruin, the Warring States have collapsed, the Hundred Schools have perished, and all people sing as slaves.

Coming to this still-primitive land, shackled and looking up at those who ride high above like gods,

he hears the impassioned voices of those who would take their place,

and those who proclaim, "Are we not born of the same kind?"

Chu Wen falls silent for a moment.

"I don't want to be a slave. I don't want everyone to be slaves. I don't want those high and mighty people..."

Let the name endure in history; let it be a song that lasts.

P.S. A Qin-era novel about contending for supremacy. From commoner to emperor.

P.S. The protagonist won't become emperor, and neither Qin nor the other states are idealized.

P.S. The protagonist is a good young man from the 21st century, a true saint. He kills only when he must and chooses peaceful solutions whenever possible. This is not a wish-fulfillment novel.

P.S. He will never proclaim himself emperor, and becoming a king is already a last resort. The story follows the objective laws of development. The protagonist doesn't love Qin Shi Huang, or any nobles or rulers. On the contrary, he opposes all rulers, including the popular and controversial First Emperor. He serves only the people, praises only the people, and believes that true power comes from the people.

P.S. He recognizes only democracy and wants to live as an ordinary person in a democracy. The plot of this story is about working toward that goal. Whether it succeeds depends on the objective laws governing how things develop.

P.S. In the end, there may be a system of enfeoffment, or something else, but it definitely won't be a commandery-and-county system or slavery.

P.S. If you've read my novel about Amon, this child is the complete opposite of Amon.

P.S. Friendly discussion and exchange of ideas are welcome.
