[Saving for Later: The Marriage Partner of a Mad, Lovesick Villain] A romance that starts with marriage and blossoms into love
[The gentle, brooding top who turns dark x the optimistic but incredibly unlucky bottom]
[This novel is on hiatus]
Fuguang, the mountain god, awaited death in a deep slumber. Who could have guessed the villagers would arrive with drums and gongs, presenting her with a little bride?
She began observing the girl named Mei Yun. She was so unlucky, yet so optimistic. She had small, soft hands and a small, soft face, with sweet, tender lips.
Every word that came from those lips was honeyed, and her eyes shimmered with affection.
The mountain god fell in love with her. She tore off one of her reverse scales, recited obscure divine words, and shared a deep kiss with her, mingled with divine blood.
The god's voice was like a fine, misty rain. "From this day forward, we will live and die together, sharing each other's joys and sorrows." Fuguang's heart held nothing but her wife. She treated her as the sole anchor in her life.
But her wife ran away, like a cicada slipping out of its shell, leaving behind an empty, puppet-like husk.
The white-haired dragon god with golden eyes stared gloomily into the distance. She tore open the void and caught the little thing attached to her wife's soul, finally forcing it to reveal everything. It turned out her wife had only been carrying out a mission: to save the world, she had to make Fuguang fall in love with her.
Once the mission was complete, naturally she had to move on to the next world and win over the next target.
Was she a liar? Were all those exchanged vows and words of love nothing but lies?
Fuguang's beating heart suddenly stopped. Disbelief gradually crept into her eyes.
She threatened the System into entering the small worlds with her, where she devoured every one of those mission targets. She refused to believe her lover was a thief who toyed with people's feelings, and she refused to believe the System's answer. She would see for herself.
[The Lost Mermaid]
An ancient kingdom lies lost beneath the sea. A mermaid's tail shimmers like colored glass and glows like a rose as she sleeps in the dark ruins. Suddenly, she opens her eyes and swims to the surface, where she spots a girl floating in the water.
The mermaid rescues her. Golden light glimmers in her eyes, where love and hate intertwine.
Mei Yun marvels at the mermaid's beauty and places a flower crown she has woven on her head. A little shy, she says, "Thank you for saving me."
The research institute comes for Fuguang and captures her, locking her in a laboratory behind thick glass and brilliant blue artificial seawater. Fuguang watches her former lover become her caretaker, chatting with her and discussing their escape. Her concern seems so genuine, and when she runs her slender, pale fingers over Fuguang's wounds, the pain in her expression seems real, too.
After untold hardships, they escape the laboratory. The moment they finally regain their freedom, the mission ends, and Mei Yun leaves once again.
Fuguang floats coldly in the water, a storm gathering in her eyes. Slowly, she rolls two words off her tongue: "Liar."
[The Ghost King of the Ancient Tomb]
The ghost king who haunts the ancient tomb drifts like the wind, appearing and disappearing. A novice exorcist blunders in, trembling with fear and too scared to open her eyes. The ghost king orders the other spirits away, binds her limbs with Yin energy, then gently bites her earlobe. The icy chill makes her shiver. Lowering her eyes, white hair brushing the girl's ear, she asks in a hoarse voice, "If I make a contract with you, what will I get?"
Mei Yun gazes into the ghost king's golden eyes. They seem strangely familiar. She swallows and asks cautiously, "What do you want? Anything I have is yours."
Fuguang gives a scornful laugh. Her fingertip slowly strokes the back of Mei Yun's neck, and Yin energy leisurely coils around her chest as she feels the girl shivering in her arms. "All right, then come warm my bed."
Mei Yun looks at the thousand-year-old ice coffin in the tomb chamber and anxiously chews her fingernails. How is she supposed to warm that? If she gets put inside and cremated, the bed still won't be warm by the time she's turned to ash!
The ghost king chuckles and whispers into her ear, "Warming my bed doesn't require you to keep your clothes on."
[Genetic Experiment]
Zombies surround the city, and the research institute is in ruins. An experimental subject with butterfly wings flaps them, scattering scale powder like stardust as she escapes the laboratory. She finds a researcher hiding in fear, wraps her arms around the woman's waist, and runs a long, snake-like tongue over her dry lips. Her gaze dark, she asks softly, "Are you afraid of me? Are you hiding from me?"
The girl trembles and shakes her head. "No. I'm hiding from the other test subjects."
Is that so? Fuguang sneers. A liar with honeyed words and a silver tongue. Could anything that comes out of those soft lips possibly be sincere?
Love and disappointment torment her. Fuguang grips her lover by the throat, wanting to interrogate her, curse her, tear her soul apart and swallow it whole. Yet a tear of blood suddenly falls.
She gently strokes Mei Yun's neck. Her reddish-gold eyes hold endless madness as Fuguang presses her forehead against the girl's in an intimate gesture and speaks as lightly as drifting clouds. "Perhaps I should eat you. Then you won't be able to lie to me again."
Mei Yun shudders a few times. Is it because the missions are getting harder? Why does she feel like her targets are getting more and more twisted?
Mei Yun has been unlucky ever since she was little. She chokes when she drinks water, instant noodles never come with seasoning packets, and even shoelaces tied in double knots come undone and trip her up. Even the way she died was ridiculous: a flowerpot fell from the sky and killed her on the spot.
A System came to her and asked her to win over the cornerstones of various small worlds. Otherwise, those worlds would collapse and be destroyed. Once she completed the missions, she could reverse her death and go home.
Mei Yun agreed. Her missions went so smoothly it was unbelievable. Sincerity for sincerity, and whenever a mission ended, her feelings and memories were sealed. She was left with only a vague impression. At last, after completing her final mission, she finally received her ticket home. Thinking her luck had changed, she was just about to leave the System when a pair of arms reached around from behind and encircled her neck.
Her white-haired, golden-eyed lover whispered in her ear, "Darling, are you leaving again?"
The fog obscuring her memories suddenly lifted. Mei Yun realized that everyone she had won over had the same face as the mountain god. They were all the same person!
Mei Yun: Aaaaaah! I knew I couldn't possibly stop being unlucky! What on earth is going on?

I can't see the domineering dragon god forcing love 😭
Ahhhh, okay, okay, but I really can't bear to part with it. Help, I like the characters of the two protagonists very much. I hope I can regain my inspiration next time.
I was thinking of reading it again to gain weight, and I just saw it marked as finished, so I clicked in with great interest. Then he left in great pain.
Don't think about what readers like, everyone likes something different. Style character theme
Ah... I just clicked on it and found that Teacher Dumpling encountered a bottleneck and completed TT. It's okay. Even if I'm fooled, you still posted the outline. It's good. Keep working hard and keep working hard. I believe more people will like your articles in the future.
Alas, I hope I will come back to make up for this in the future... We will wait until that day, right? 🤔
You fooled me and posted the outline. Author, you really made me cry to death. It's okay. The bottleneck period is normal. Adjust slowly (deeply) (sympathy)
Well, I look forward to my wife coming back to fill the gap in the future [spreading flowers][spreading flowers][holding up cheeks]
It doesn't matter. Isn't it good to be able to stop losses in time and discover your own shortcomings? It's better than forcing yourself to finish writing and making yourself uncomfortable as well as the readers. I hope you can adjust well!
Why don't you try eating Zuoyu? Sometimes you can get inspiration from real CP when writing articles.
