[Mutual Pining] [Sweet Romance] [Food Blogger x PhD in Agricultural Science]
[Blurb to be revised]
To split the rent, Xia Yunli found a roommate to share her place.
Her new roommate, Jiang Chi, had a cool expression, silver-framed glasses, and the imposing air of a strict teacher.
Every morning, Jiang Chi left with a sandwich in hand, and every evening, she ate instant noodles. As a food blogger, Xia Yunli couldn't stand to watch. She invited Jiang Chi to sit at the table. After taking a bite, Jiang Chi paused. "I'll do the dishes from now on."
From then on, there was one more person at the dinner table, and after meals, a different busy figure stood at the sink.
One cooked, and the other washed the dishes. It was just like the life Xia Yunli had imagined sharing with someone. You couldn't blame a single lesbian like her for letting her imagination run wild.
But her roommate was straight, and a top student with a PhD to boot. Xia Yunli didn't dare reveal her feelings. She did her best to act straight, thinking she'd be perfectly happy just being friends.
Jiang Chi left early and came home late. She seemed cool, but always showed up to help whenever Xia Yunli needed her. There was just one thing: she said one thing and meant another, and she was stubborn to boot.
She probably had no idea that she squeezed her fingers whenever she felt guilty.
Xia Yunli: Kind of cute.
Jiang Chi thought she was asexual. Later, she thought she was food-sexual. It took her even longer to realize that she simply liked the person who cooked for her.
There was just one thing: though Xia Yunli had a sweet, adorable face, she always looked at Jiang Chi with a strangely maternal affection.
When Jiang Chi said she could go get a shot by herself, Xia Yunli shook her head. "You can't." Then she went with her and fussed over her the whole time.
When Jiang Chi said the lunch break was too short, so she would skip eating, Xia Yunli shook her head. "You can't." Then she brought her a meal: three dishes and a soup, making all their coworkers jealous.
When Jiang Chi said it was fine that she'd had a nightmare, Xia Yunli shook her head. "You can't." Then she pulled her onto the bed and tucked her into her arms.
Jiang Chi buried her face in a softness so overwhelming it could make her suffocate. Whether from embarrassment or lack of air, even her neck turned bright red.
Jiang Chi: First of all, I'm not straight!
But after looking up the things straight female best friends did, she thought it over. Maybe she could be straight after all.
They say lesbians like straight girls. If she pretended to be straight, would Xia Yunli fall for her?
Sharing an umbrella in the rain, drinking from the same cup of milk tea when thirsty, holding hands as they walked, hugging without a care who saw.
Jiang Chi: "That's just what friends do."
Even though what I really mean is girlfriends.

My New Novel, Reborn as the Obsessed Empress's Cannon Fodder Consort, is currently updating!
[Awkward but Honest 1 Who Keeps Her Thoughts to Herself x Scheming, Suspicious, Proud Eldest Princess 0] [Ancient Setting ABO, No Side Pairings, Seriously Overpowered Golden Finger]
Wen Qingwan was betrayed in the apocalypse. After she died, she discovered that she had become an utterly fake and treacherous villain, making ends meet by selling the belongings of people she'd picked up.
She was planning to hunt, earn enough to buy their things back, return them, and leave, when she suddenly became bound to a System.
The System told her that if she raised the favorability of the gravely ill eldest princess, who lay on the wooden platform bed at home, and helped her ascend the throne, she could not only regain her original spatial ability but upgrade it into a farm space, helping her live well in ancient times.
Eldest Princess's favorability +1: the space grows by one square meter, and she receives ten plots of rare black soil.
Eldest Princess's favorability +1: the space grows by ten square meters, and she receives one hundred bags of high-yield fertilizer.
Eldest Princess's favorability +1: the space grows by one hundred square meters, and she receives a rare spirit spring.
When there was no rice at home, she pulled out a bag of clean, hulled white rice with her left hand to cook porridge and rice.
When there was no money at home, she sold ten bags of cornmeal with her right hand to buy medicine.
The eldest princess's health improved day by day, and the way she looked at Wen Qingwan grew increasingly strange.
Wen Qingwan guiltily lowered her head. "...Actually, I'm a monster."
At last, the eldest princess successfully ascended the throne, and Wen Qingwan completed her mission. She packed her things and decided to leave the palace to live a free and carefree life.
Yu Ke was reborn.
In her past life, Wen Qingwan, that scoundrel, had been bought off by the emperor. Relying on her imperial appointment as consort, she had humiliated Yu Ke in every way and secretly leaked information, sabotaging her rebellion. Even having her executed by being torn apart by five horses after ascending the throne hadn't been enough to satisfy Yu Ke's hatred.
But now Wen Qingwan had changed. She no longer drank or gambled, and spent every day dutifully chopping wood and cooking. She was proper in every way, and even gave up the bed.
She also kept producing piles of things out of thin air for no apparent reason. Unfortunately, she was terrible at hiding it. Whenever she lied, her ears turned red.
Whether she was a monster or an immortal, Yu Ke only wanted to use her to bring the rebellion to success. And yet, for some reason, she couldn't take her eyes off her.
Yu Ke successfully ascended the throne, only to be told some bad news by the palace guards.
She hurried to the palace gates and clamped a hand around Wen Qingwan's wrist. "I'm carrying your child, and you want to abandon your wife and child? Is that what you call taking responsibility?"
Wen Qingwan froze.
"C-Carrying what?"
Weren't they both women? How could one of them be pregnant?
Theme: Be brave and confident, and dare to make your move.
Retribution comes too quickly and leaves quickly
Such a dramatic end to a life of sin
No, it was fine at the beginning, but why did the progress suddenly seem like a rocket in the later stage? How strange!
It's unexpected but it's so cool. This kind of person won't give up until he's dead or in jail.
No one knows who will come first tomorrow or the accident. The three members of the Xia family are so miserable. I feel so good! [Caigou][Caigou][Caigou]
I'm going to die laughing. I deserve it.
Hahahahahahahahaha
Why does it feel so good in the front, but so rushed in the back?
It's too hasty and there's still a lot more to write, which is a pity.
[Transformed] I remember if there were some unresolved conflicts before?
