Itadori Yuji was an ordinary high school boy. After his family suffered a sudden upheaval, he followed his grandfather back to their hometown of Sendai to farm.
The family next door all had orange hair. They were warm and thoughtful, just like a bunch of big tangerines.
The neighbor’s eldest son loved playing volleyball but didn’t have a practice partner, so Itadori Yuji stepped in as a temporary training partner.
On his first encounter with volleyball, Itadori Yuji had just one thought:
Shoyo can jump so high! He’s amazing!
Shoyo works so hard. He’s sure to become an incredible volleyball player!
Later, Itadori Yuji and his friends rode their bikes over two mountains every day to get to school.
From then on, Karasuno High had two suns shining in the sky!
Little Yachi (sobbing into her hands): Who gets it? Even a tiny villager B just passing by gets scorched!
Thanks to his impressive physical abilities, plenty of people had their eyes on Itadori Yuji not long after he started playing volleyball.
Some actress: Yo-ho~ Yuji and the little guy, how about joining Aoba Johsai?
Some beefy cannon: Itadori, you should play somewhere better suited to you. Only Shiratorizawa can help you take the stage you deserve.
Blond fox: Shoyo and Yuji, someday I’ll set the ball for you! I promise!
Some owl: Hehehe! My little disciples, when are you coming to Tokyo to play with me?
Some calico cat: Setting is fine, but you can’t set forever.
The protective crows of Karasuno: No thanks, we’re not interested! Don’t try to poach our new starting player and middle blocker under the pretext of “playing a match”!

Itadori Yuji was the first person to give Hinata Shoyo such confidence and encouragement.
“There are lots of monsters on the court who are only short in stature. Shoyo, you’re one of those ‘monsters.’” The clear eyes of the boy gazed at the orange-haired boy before him as he spoke, one word at a time.
“Believe me. No, believe in yourself! The world is sure to be amazed by you!”
Hinata Shoyo thought he’d remember Itadori Yuji for the rest of his life.
During the crow boy’s most obscure years of growth, someone saw the spark in him and helped it shine, telling him, “You are your own light.” Someone who trained with him without restraint until they collapsed on the ground, exhausted, laughing. Someone who watched the stars at the darkest hour before dawn in Miyagi and the first rays of sunrise with him, and stayed up late to call across the ocean and hear about the little things in his life.
It’s wonderful, he thought.
It’s wonderful that he got to meet someone like that.

What changes will the little crow from Sendai bring to the world when he spreads his wings and takes to the sky?
Pairing: The Little Sun
Double the sun, double the fun.
This story is also known as “The Suns’ 3.5 Billion.”
* No cursed spirits. Sports anime boys are the best!
* Volleyball is the main focus, with very little Jujutsu Kaisen.
* Itadori’s combat ability is about on par with Bokuto/Ushijima/sks/Kiryu/Aran.
After being traumatized by manga, I decided to send Itadori to a sports anime to conquer the world!
