Blurb:
After retiring, the great cultivator Jiang Lan was so bored that, at a friend's invitation, he inherited the Quick Transmigration Bureau and became its newly appointed director.
The previous director had neglected the job, leaving the rules and regulations incomplete. The members were each more troublesome than the last.
Some were hopeless romantics who fell in love with the fated child of a small world. Some were unlucky enough to get trapped by a villain and could not return. And some were madmen who nearly destroyed a small world over the slightest disagreement.
The first thing Jiang Lan did after taking office was go rescue an employee who had become too immersed in their role and was trapped in a small world.
Deeply troubled, he decided to properly reform the bureau's bad habits and unhealthy practices.

The Hosts at the Quick Transmigration Bureau discovered that ever since the new director took office, the bureau had become strange in its own way.
Host A: I took a mission in a fake-versus-real young master story set in the interstellar era. According to the original plot, as the real young master despised by everyone, I was supposed to be misunderstood at every turn and suffer both physical and emotional abuse. But following the mission route the new director gave me, I somehow became the top authority in the galaxy. I went from a wealthy-family entertainment industry story straight into an interstellar war epic.
Host B: It was my first mission for the Quick Transmigration Bureau. Since I came from an ancient world, the System specially chose an ancient setting so I could adjust more easily. But I got too immersed and spent years entangled with that world's fated child, suffering both physical and emotional abuse. I almost couldn't make it back. After the director rescued me, he was afraid I would get immersed again in my next world, so he sent me, an ancient person, straight to a modern world I knew nothing about.
Well... I certainly won't get immersed this time.
Host C: Before joining the Quick Transmigration Bureau, I was a modern person who accidentally transmigrated to ancient times. The crown prince kept me as his canary for eight years. I always wanted to escape, but everyone thought I was ungrateful. Sure, the crown prince had countless beauties in his household, but he loved me! He doted on me alone! What more could I want?! I thought I would have to stay in ancient times until I died, but then the director discovered that I had transmigrated and asked if I wanted to go back. I chose to return without hesitation.
After all, I'm a local of the capital. My father owns a publicly listed company, my mother works in the civil service, and I've got more than ten houses waiting to be inherited. I just passed the civil service exam, too. I'd be an idiot not to go back!!!
Through Jiang Lan's series of wild maneuvers, the Quick Transmigration Bureau's business boomed, and it recruited more and more new members, each more competitive than the last.
Except for one permanent fixture in the Passerby Division.

Ling He, the Quick Transmigration Bureau's permanent fixture and the Passerby Division's only member, was a lazy fish with no ambition whatsoever.
His main job was to play characters who appeared only once or twice in different worlds, passing through everyone's lives without becoming part of them. Hence the Passerby Division.
Jiang Lan discovered that no matter where he went, he ran into this permanent fixture.
When Jiang Lan rescued an employee, Ling He happened to pass by and watch.
When Jiang Lan dealt with illegal Systems and transmigrators and reborn people, Ling He happened to pass by and hand him a knife.
When Jiang Lan patched up a world's flaws, Ling He happened to pass by and help.
When Jiang Lan went to sleep, Ling He passed by... Wait!
Hm?
