Little Frenemies

They say the person Xu Kuang hates most in the world is Yu Shuqing. “Do you two do it every day?” “Mm... But it's not love. It's hate.” Facing his friend's complicated expression, Xu Kuang set down his coffee cup. “Our marriage is just a transaction... What? No, I'm not under his spell. You don't understand. I have a plan.” “Really. For example, to get back at him, I'll personally teach him how to tie his husband's tie.” “I do it every day.” “Over time, he stopped stomping on my feet with his shoes. And at night, too, I pull out every trick I know to tease him. Don't get the wrong idea. I'm only doing it because I enjoy it.” As for why he hated Yu Shuqing so much, Xu Kuang had a simple reason. They'd grown up together and had been close since childhood. They'd even made childish promises to each other. “I love you most, Brother Xu Kuang!” But when they parted on bad terms, Yu Shuqing had red eyes and bit down hard on his shoulder. Who could have guessed that years later, when they met again, Yu Shuqing wouldn't recognize him and would sleep with him while drunk? “Sorry,” the handsome young man said hoarsely, turning his back as he straightened his shirt. “Let's pretend this never happened.” Before Xu Kuang could react, two hundred yuan landed in front of him. What a humiliating disgrace. He was 191 centimeters tall, handsome, rich, broad-shouldered, narrow-waisted, and sporting an eight-pack. Even if someone mistook him for a cheap gigolo, he couldn't possibly be worth so little! And so Xu Kuang decided to get revenge on Yu Shuqing. “...So you married Yu Shuqing to make sure he could never have an ordinary, happy life? You keep coming up with new delicious dishes every day to ruin his perfect figure, and you keep pouring money into his company's projects so he stays busy as a spinning top?” Xu Kuang: “Exactly.” His friend fell silent for a moment. “...You really have the nerve to say that out loud.” - Yu Shuqing once had a sworn enemy named Xu Kuang. They grew up together, clashing at every turn and bickering whenever they met. Then Yu Shuqing discovered a secret: if he sweetly called Xu Kuang “big brother,” Xu Kuang's ears would turn red in an instant. Yu Shuqing: Hilarious. After that, he called him “big brother” this and “big brother” that, playing him like a fiddle. Then an unexpected car accident robbed Yu Shuqing of most of his memories, including the sworn enemy he'd once had. The day his family pressured him to marry, Yu Shuqing got drunk and saw a gorgeous stranger with a handsome face and a rebellious gaze. The man went straight to his heart. Yu Shuqing did the boldest thing he'd ever done: He slept with him. Then he shoved two hundred yuan into the man's hand. He was betting the man would come after him. His provocation worked. The man pinned him down fiercely and tore his shirt open with one hand. “...Do you remember my shoulder?” The clear bite mark was still there. Yu Shuqing looked completely bewildered, unable to understand what he meant. He ventured, “Broad shoulders... good for wrapping my legs around?” #What did he do wrong to deserve this much hatred and all this aggression? #Who could've guessed that after losing his memory, he'd fall in love with his sworn enemy after starting out hating him? A pampered, sweet little firecracker bottom x a scheming, vain peacock top who acts tough [Please note] 1. They are each other's first love. There's a size difference, and the top (Xu Kuang) can carry the bottom (Yu Shuqing) around in one arm. 2. For the bottom, this is both a hookup and a marriage that turns into love. As for the top... never mind. For all his bluster, he's head over heels. 3. It's a fun story about a pair of lovable idiots. My next book, The Little House in the Northwest, doesn't have a blurb yet.
