Before he transmigrated, he was a lifelong single. After transmigrating, he ended up in a cultivation world.

Before choosing his cultivation path, he remembered the saying, "Those who cultivate the Heartless Dao are destined to get pinned down."

Him: What's there to think about? The Heartless Dao!

He entered the sect, and no one paid him any attention.

He became the sect's top genius, and no one paid him any attention.

He became the sect's number one, and still no one paid him any attention.

Him: ...No need to panic. He thought he could still salvage the situation.

He'd seen stories where a disciple turned evil and pinned down their master, so he decided to try taking on two disciples.

Then one day, he saw his two disciples secretly kissing.

Him: ...Well... all right...

Suddenly, inspiration struck. He did seem to have a demon lord sealed beneath the sea.

Thinking of that man's vengeful nature,

Him: Um... maybe he should just take on another disciple.
