I Found Enlightenment at the Zoo

A violent, brutal military lord top x a laid-back, cultivation-practicing iron-eating bottom

Blurb:

Yiru and Yidong are famous twin pandas in Jin City, with tens of millions of online fans and a standalone villa worth over a hundred million yuan within the Second Ring Road of China's capital.

They'd be the kind of heartthrobs who could captivate countless young men and women, if only they were human.

Unfortunately, they're a pair of twin pandas.

And not a particularly sane pair of twin brothers, either.

One panda cultivates immortality, while the other is completely unhinged.

Even so, their outstanding looks and personalities have drawn throngs of adoring fans who come to watch them.

Yiru doesn't care about any of that. It only loves cultivation.

Yidong digs holes; it meditates.

Yidong climbs walls; it meditates.

Yidong snaps trees; it meditates.

Then one day, on the night of a full moon, it cultivates itself into human form among the branches of a spruce.

Yidong, climbing the tree: What the hell?! My big brother turned into a biped!

Yiru, having achieved enlightenment: What the hell?! I changed species!

Startled, Yiru lost its balance and fell from the tree.

Just as Yiru braced itself for the impact, it landed in a sturdy embrace. A deep, magnetic voice sounded by its ear.

"Look what I caught."

"A giant panda that turned into a spirit after the founding of the nation."

Yiru looked up and saw who had caught it.

A vivid streak of red was hidden in the man's black hair. His face was handsome, but his expression was fierce, as if "arrogant, wild, and cool" had been stamped across it.

He was Yiru's caretaker.

Yiru: What do I do if my caretaker catches me the very day I turn into a spirit? Asking online, urgent.
