Coming Soon: The Compatibility of the Dragon-Slaying Hero and the Japanese-Style Male Lead [A classic savior hero x a Japanese-style male lead on a path of growth toward destroying the world] Ensemble cast Blurb: After obtaining the Imperial Seal, a System suddenly appeared in Ying Zheng's mind. It was called the College Student Internship Summoning System. As long as Ying Zheng issued an internship certificate, he could put countless future pillars of society to work for him. The empire had only just been unified, and the realm was still unsettled. This was exactly when he needed people. Ying Zheng looked at the resumes of a group of ambitious young people from the new century and, in a daze, clicked [Yes]. The result... A history graduate, gentle as water, opened his mouth and snapped, “Wake up. The Qin Dynasty died a long time ago.” Ying Zheng, who had wanted to ask about his own merit: ? An outgoing media and communications graduate landed straight in prison. “Brother Zheng, waaah! Do they arrest you just for trying to talk to a pretty girl?!” Ying Zheng, who had come to the Court of Judicial Review to bail him out: ? A taciturn physics graduate held up a blank sheet of paper and cursed out the Imperial Workshops. “Even the gods couldn't get this piece of junk to work!” Ying Zheng, who had come to break up the fight but couldn't get a word in: ? A lazy, checked-out finance major, a reserved chemistry student with an old cadre's air, a lively and adorable accounting major, a calm, Buddhist-minded education major... When all these college students gathered together: #They fool around while building the Lingqu Canal and never learn their lesson!! Punish them severely, Your Majesty!# #During the book-burning, they forcibly burn every language proficiency exam book not on the approved list! Punish them severely, Your Majesty!# #On the march, they strap homemade skateboards to their horses and lie down as they roll forward! Punish them severely, Your Majesty!# Emperor Qin Shi Huang, gradually buried beneath a mountain of denunciations: ... So this is what college students are like? Truly terrifying. He pushed aside the memorials, opened the internship panel, and stared thoughtfully at the progress of the various tasks. #Lingqu Canal construction: 100% complete. The project time has been cut in half.# #Book burning: 100% complete. Books used for improper teaching have been removed, while classics of great significance to future generations have been preserved.# #Northern campaign against the Xiongnu: 100% complete. The Xiongnu's territory has been reclaimed.# #Agricultural land reclamation: 100% complete. Our country's crop yields have initially increased by 200%.# #Fishing...# #Commerce...# Ying Zheng: College students are truly terrifying! He had the Great Wall supervisor who'd made the college students work overtime dragged away, then rewarded them by appointing them as Fusu's personal guards. After that, he issued one final internship task. #The Great Qin Academy: Let a hundred schools of thought flourish. Will you join me in creating a golden age?!# [Ding-ding!! Brother Zheng has issued a new internship task. Accept?] The college students gave a wicked grin. “Zheng's army! Charge!!” Meanwhile, inside Yichun Palace. Fusu fell silent beneath the fervent gaze of his 1,538th personal guard. Fusu: When Father said he'd “send Zheng's army out for reform through labor,” he wasn't just trying to comfort me, was he :( [Reader's Guide]: 1. The story begins after Brother Zheng unifies the realm. This is a parallel world, and it definitely doesn't follow official history. It's just a fun story, with a mountain of headcanons! Don't treat it as real history! If that bothers you, don't read!! Please don't nitpick the history! (Content warning!) 2. Even historical figures have more than one side. I've read up on the relevant figures and will try to keep them in character, but that doesn't mean their historical personalities were actually like this. These are my characterizations~ They're more on the side of adoring our ancestors. If that's not your thing, proceed with caution! (Hands together) P.S. Zhao Gao is a eunuch in this story! He's fiercely loyal to Qin Shi Huang, and only grows ambitious after Qin Shi Huang's death. He's a fanatical superfan of our ancestor, and he'll die later. The outline has the old ancestor use him to eliminate the remnants of the Six Kingdoms (In a society governed by law, evidence matters! Don't ask me why they don't just execute him!!). If that bothers you, read at your own risk!!! (Content warning, content warning!!) 3. The college students in this story are not meant to represent all college students in general. This is just how they're characterized here. I don't mean to put down any major or college students (please don't come for me). Theme: Building a happy Qin empire
