The Game System Forces Me to Become Emperor

In the sixth year of the Mingde era, Prince Xing rebelled and seized Yu and Han provinces.

In Yuntai Commandery, Han province, the commandery governor's family fled into the mountains and ran into Prince Xing's pursuers.

The governor's daughter was Yu Liu's starting character in the game Age of War.

As a turn-based strategy game, Age of War required players to build a city before they could recruit soldiers...

Yu Liu was certain that by the time she finished building a city, her corpse would already be cold.

She needed a solution that would work right away!

Three days later, Prince Xing heard from his fleeing, defeated soldiers that the daughter of Yuntai Commandery's governor had declared herself emperor in a mountain ravine!

Prince Xing, who hadn't even declared himself emperor yet: "???"

Yu Liu had no choice. In the game's rules, only the act of "declaring oneself emperor" could instantly recruit ten units of soldiers.

Later, Yu Liu discovered that this world actually had strange things like dragon energy, dragon veins, and internal power.

Yu Liu: "...Time to unlock some internal power tech and level up like crazy!"

1. Told from the perspective of a player who does whatever she wants.

2. But the "game" is, of course, real.

3. The player has a somewhat low moral compass.
