[A love-hate, seme-centric infinite-flow story]
On the first day my fiance was away on a business trip, I received a book. Three large characters were printed on its cover: "Record of the Dead." I opened it, and the first page was blank.
This had to be someone's prank.
I flipped through the book casually, not particularly concerned, until I came to its only page with any writing on it. It said:
Name: Zhou Xinglin (1998-2016)
Sex: Male
Biography: Born on July 16, 1998, in Haishi. Attended Qingshan Town Elementary School... Died on March 18, 2016, at Haishi No. 6 High School.
I thought it was absurd.
Zhou Xinglin was my fiance's name.
We'd known each other since we were young and fallen in love in college. With our family and friends' blessings, we were about to walk down the aisle, yet this book told me my fiance had died long ago.
How ridiculous, I thought.
But after that, my fiance vanished without a trace.
When I asked the people around me, they looked terrified.
My mother cried as she told me my fiance had died long ago.
I hadn't been able to accept the news back then, and had developed a delusion as a result. That's why I'd kept imagining that my fiance was by my side.
Later, Xu Chengyan received another letter.
It gave an address and told him that he would find the answers to everything that puzzled him there.
Xu Chengyan went...
Only to be swept into a game played by countless spirits of the dead.
His fiance was there too, unmistakably.
But he held a knife and looked at Xu Chengyan like a stranger.
[Calm and gentle (?) scheming seme x aloof, cool, and pure-hearted uke]
Stages (tentative)
1. The Haunted Mountains
2. Don't Look Back
Content notes: 1. One-on-one, exclusive mind and body, love-hate relationship, mutually devoted, seme-centric. Xu Chengyan is the seme. Written in third person, plot-focused, with the uke playing an active role. The author's writing is at elementary-school level.
2. As the blurb makes clear, the seme has some issues, so be prepared for him to be mentally unstable. The characters are flawed, so this may not suit readers with high moral standards or expectations. The characters' values do not reflect the author's.
3. The author is not a seme or uke stan. Readers who are stans should enter with caution.
4. No unsolicited advice or arguments in the comments. Let's all get along. If you don't want to read it or can't keep going, please leave. Please be gentle with criticism.
5. The cover uses a template and is not exclusively licensed.

Theme: We are all travelers in the flood of life.
