After the Demon Lord of the Abyss Reincarnated as a Saint

Samuel Lowell, the sole king of the demon realm, had ruled for a thousand years.

One day, tired of that life, he closed his eyes and reincarnated, bringing his memories with him.

He was born surrounded by flowers, with praise and blessings ringing in his ears.

A red-robed bishop, eyes full of love, placed a spotless holy relic beside him.

When Samuel realized what it was, his face darkened.

It was the holy relic that symbolized the identity of a holy son.

Thanks for asking. The Demon Lord of the Abyss has reincarnated as a blond, blue-eyed human holy son.

And to make matters worse, they worship his sworn enemy :)

Not far away, a subordinate who had secretly followed him, unable to bear the thought of leaving him alone, gazed at him from behind a tree, eyes sparkling.

"Your Majesty, let's use this opportunity to expand the demon realm's territory!"

The 31st holy son of the Gavelo Empire was so outstanding that no one could hope to match him.

At just two months old, he had mastered the local language. At one, he could take on the Pope, and at three, he sent a high-level demon creature that had invaded the holy temple flying.

Everyone was certain he was the child of God foretold in prophecy, destined to bring peace to the two continents and truly balance light and darkness.

A child this exceptional could get away with anything, whether it was running off during prayers or carelessly breaking the occasional statue of God.

Elves blessed him, merfolk sang for him, and even flowers that bloomed only at dawn were willing to open a few hours later for his sake.

Every living creature on the continent would offer him its loyalty and love without hesitation.

The demon's subordinates, tears in their eyes: At last, the day has come when you will rule the continent.

Samuel, who had no such intention at all: ...

The one and only god on the continent, Ashbourne Freeman, sensed a change in the power of faith and lowered his eyes for a casual glance.

?! How did the person I've secretly loved for thousands of years suddenly reincarnate as one of my followers?!!
