After Becoming Their Black Moonlight

Miyajima Ri has a special ability. In his sleep, he enters another world and lives a completely different life.

But he can't control this ability very well.

Every time, he dies horribly, and then the dream ends.

So his friends won't be sad, at the last moment he always makes himself out to be a villain, for example

Selling out the junior who admires him for profit, selling the kid he raised with his own hands to a dangerous person for a little money, or offering up his childhood friend as a test subject for the sake of "family honor."

He thought they'd never meet again, so he ruined his own reputation without a care. Then, over the past few days, Miyajima Ri...suddenly became able to go back!

*Junior

Bourbon's ingratiating smile overlapped with his junior's adoring face. "I look forward to working with you, senpai."

He had already risen to a high position in the liquor organization. He was no longer someone who could be suspected just because of a casual smear campaign.

In those blue-violet eyes, Miyajima Ri read a single sentence:

Why aren't you dead yet?

*Dazai

At the Armed Detective Agency, a young man with bandages leaned casually against the back of the sofa.

Though he was smiling, his russet eyes were full of unfamiliarity and distance, as if they really were strangers.

His slender fingers idly waved the commission letter. "So, is Mr. Miyajima's request to find a pet he abandoned long ago?"

*Childhood friend

Miyajima Ri hadn't slept well in a long time.

In his dreams, those mismatched eyes marked with numbers always stared at him with hatred. Bony fingers gripped his chin as he said ominously, "Wait for me to come see you."

His voice, as intimate as a lover's whisper, was filled with bone-deep hatred.

Miyajima Ri panicked. "...Don't do anything yet! Just hear me out, will you?!"
