How Can a Sweet Little Omega Soothe a Paranoid, Brooding Enigma?

A calculating but down-and-out, paranoid, gloomy wreck VS a slightly calculating but not very clever beauty. Enigma/Omega pairing, with a difference in build and skin tone.

Set in a spacefaring world. A powerful Enigma is framed by political rivals and suddenly falls from grace, ending up on a trash planet, his life and death unknown. The love interest takes him in, but his memories have regressed to the darkest period of his life, when he was abused for over a decade.

The love interest is the only child on the trash planet with a chance of differentiating as an omega. Many people have their eyes on him, hoping to claim him when he differentiates. If he does, he won't be facing a one-on-one situation, but one against many. So he has been taking medication to suppress differentiation, until the day he finds the other man.

He thinks he's taken in a down-and-out stray dog, but it turns out he's let a wolf into the house. Not only does his attempt to use his kindness to win favors fail, but when he tries to seduce the other man, the latter's out-of-control pheromones make his suppressants fail on the spot, and he differentiates into an omega right in front of him. From then on, every night the other man makes him cry nonstop, panting and cursing. The trouble is, he's no good at insults. The nastiest thing he's ever called him is "mangy dog."

The gloomy wreck of an attacker: Nice. I like it. Call me that more. Cuddle with me, darling. Lick, lick, lick.

I'm considering adding spirit-animal forms. In my own setting, an Enigma's mark can determine the animal form of an alpha or omega's spirit, but the Enigma has to mark them during their differentiation period.

Spirit-animal cuddling is equivalent to spiritual sex. The attacker's spirit is a snake. I want to see the snakes cuddling, and I also want to see the nasty attacker use his spirit to bully the cute baby and his spirit. OvO

Theme: Be happy, be joyful.
