Mr. Mori's Love Letter

A Hybrid Child isn't a mechanical doll. It's a mirror that reflects its owner's love, and it can only grow when nurtured with love.

Kanda Miyuki was an abandoned Hybrid Child, passed from one owner to another, but he never managed to grow up.

Kanda Miyuki wanted to grow up.

At last, Mr. Mori took him in.

Dazai: You'll never get the chance to grow up in this lifetime.

Kanda Miyuki: I don't believe you.

Dazai: ...Take your six little fairies and get out of my sight.

Kanda Miyuki earnestly corrected him: They're not little fairies. They're Guardians.

It's just that his Guardians were a little strange. They changed every so often, and sometimes the previous batch even made a return appearance.

The sword tsukumogami who should have been born in Honmaru but instead hatched from eggs: ...We're not Guardians. We're sword tsukumogami.

The sword-forging furnace has turned into a gacha machine. Master, is there really no way to turn us back into what we were?

Doctor Mori: They're not sword tsukumogami. They're supernatural abilities.

They must be abilities just like mine, ones that can have their personalities set!

Doctor Mori became Boss Mori, and the Port Mafia didn't keep people who were no use.

So the boy showed what he was worth.

It turned out he was a magical boy!

Kanda Miyuki earnestly corrected him: I'm not a magical boy. It's Character Transformation.

Then, right there and then, he made his heart Unlock, transforming into a gorgeously dressed boy wielding a sword.

Doctor Mori: And you still say you're not a magical boy!

Dazai: ...Do you really have to make me the straight man here?!

Kanda Miyuki was the Port Mafia's most capable executive, but his colleagues always had a lot to say about him.

Lady Kouyou: ...I happen to know the director of a psychiatric hospital.

Old man Hirotsu: ...Mr. Kanda has multiple personalities. I'm not joking.

Chuuya, the man with a conscience: ...How many personalities is multiple?

Dark Era Dazai: ...I told you, this guy's crazy, but don't come to me about it. I'm not his psychiatrist!

The Port Mafia, in unison: But you have No Longer Human!

Kanda Miyuki: Character Transformation!

At some point, Kanda Miyuki grew up.
