Volleyball's Number One Crow Keeper

What happens when a dazzling 25-year-old girl who races around in a wheelchair gets into a car accident? ... She becomes another real 14-year-old girl in a wheelchair. Chi Yu: Thanks for the invite. I'm in Japan, just got out of the hospital, have never watched anime, and am still working hard to become the world's number one volleyball coach! [Interview skit] Host: What do you think of Chi Yu? Red-haired captain: My cousin? She's hardcore. Rainbow team: Chi's cousin? She's hardcore. Some cool-faced Seigaku captain: Miss Chi? She's hardcore. Some track-and-field maniac: Dr. Chi? She's hardcore. Karasuno volleyball team: Coach Chi? She's hardcore. Every high school volleyball team except Karasuno: Lady Chi? She's a total beast! Someone at the school store: Yu? She's my love. * From the moment I met you, I never imagined a future without you. * May blessings be upon the boys I love, and may I help them soar. Reader's Notes: 1. Pairing with Coach Ukai, mutual pining, a one-on-one romance with the kind of love you'd see between parents! 2. A sports-anime mashup. The heroine is a kindly (?) supporter of the boys' dreams. 3. Classic anime logic. We've already got basketball with magic and tennis that kills people, so don't nitpick the level of medical care. 4. My take on the characters may be out of character.
