Shoyo Was Six Feet Tall in His Past Life!

Among the works canceled by Jump, Shoyo was the one favored by fate. He was told that he could start over, even though his story had never been finished. "Can I really do that? I mean, someone like me..." "This time, become the protagonist!" After spending a whole year spying on the little sun at Yukigaoka like a creep, he made the humiliating choice to transfer to Tokyo. If he stayed in Miyagi, the sunshine would kill him! And so, for some reason, he joined Teiko Middle School's volleyball team. Everyone on Teiko's volleyball team, both the seniors and the juniors, was fierce! Super fierce! Absolutely terrifying! "Hoshino! Don't go to the basketball club!" "Hoshino! Don't go to the tennis club!!" "Hoshino! Don't go to the track and field club!!!" "Hoshino! Don't go to the swimming club!!!!" By the way, his name was Hoshino Toya now. He was a second-year on Teiko's volleyball team, and a perfectly ordinary outside hitter. Teiko's volleyball team: ...So that's what we're calling perfectly ordinary now! To protect their precious ace, Teiko's volleyball team kept a close watch on every athletic boy who came near him. They were determined to defend their darling ace's materialist worldview. Superpowers, begone! At graduation, Teiko's volleyball team surrounded Hoshino in tears. "Do you know how hard we've worked all these years?!" Hoshino: "...I know." Teiko's volleyball team, shocked: "You know?!" Hoshino: "You all worked so hard to help me keep up. Thank you so much for being by my side!" Teiko's volleyball team, speechless: "...We can't let you graduate! Hoshino, repeat the year!" Hoshino: "Huh?" Schools across Tokyo scrambled to recruit him. Kuroo: "Damn cat rustlers! I can tell at a glance that this kid's one of Nekoma's cats!" Iizuna: "Get lost, you nasty cat! A beautiful ermine like this is obviously one of Itachiyama's kids!" Bokuto: "Heyheyhey!! That kid is clearly an owl! A huge owl! He's ours, from Fukurodani!" Daisho: "Let me see! Let me see!! That's my little snake! How did he end up here? Come back to Tokonami with me!" The Tokyo zoo was in chaos. Kenma stole him away: "...Want to play a game?" Hoshino, quietly: "...Sure." [Kenma pairing] [In high school, everyone focuses on volleyball. The romance begins much later, in the professional arc.] [The protagonist is Shoyo from the original short volleyball manga, which was collected in Haikyuu! Owari to Hajimari. Contains headcanons.] [Cover art by Yu Wu sillage on Weibo] Reader's Guide 1. Kenma pairing. Third-person narration. OOC warning. 2. Inspired by the original Hinata. It hit me right in the heart! 3. A sports anime crossover. Hoshino is the best! 4. Teiko in middle school, Nekoma in high school. Introverted cats find comfort in each other. 5. In this story, the Interhigh venue and format are the same as Spring High. Theme: You are your own sun.
