Going Viral as an Animal Livestream Keeper

[I've tweaked the premise a little. Sorry, sorry! Feel free to skip if it bothers you.] [Blurb to be decided; may revise later.]

To boost national happiness, the government partnered with an animal conservation center to launch a livestream variety show, letting viewers raise animals virtually from the other side of the screen.

Golden snub-nosed monkeys were lively and nimble, giraffes gentle and well-behaved, but the most popular of all were the national treasures, giant pandas.

Unfortunately, the center's little fluffballs weren't keen on performing. Aside from interacting with their keepers at mealtimes, they spent the rest of the day sleeping outside the camera's view.

Their fans put on their cutest voices every day: "Baby, look at the camera! Look at the camera, baby!"

One day, a new keeper arrived at the center. The young woman looked petite and gentle, yet she was immediately put in charge of the most difficult fluffballs.

Just as viewers began to wonder if she could handle them, they were astonished to see the rebellious fluffballs start performing on camera of their own accord.

Fans: "What a good baby! Mwah, mwah!!!"

Out of the camera's view, Fusi patted the giant panda that had come over to snuggle. "That's right. Pandas should act like pandas."

During the great war against the dragon clan, Fusi, leader of the pandas, was struck by heavenly lightning. When she woke up, she had arrived in the modern world.

Her magic was weak, and she couldn't take her original form. The only power she retained was the ability to talk to animals.

So Fusi joined an animal conservation center as a keeper, and helped her fellow animals get their wishes across.

"The panda in Zone 1 says its milk is too small a portion. It wants another bowl."

"The grizzly in Zone 13 had a fight with its roommate and wants to know if it can move to another room."

"The tiger in Zone 26 says the lion next door keeps bothering it. But tigers and lions are different species and can't mate, so tell the lion to stop dreaming."

After Fusi arrived, all the animals at the center began performing for the cameras. The viewers were utterly charmed, and her popularity as a keeper soared.

Until one day, two panda ears suddenly sprouted from Fusi's head during a livestream.

The center scrambled to handle the crisis and released a matching line of discreet panda-ear headbands.

That night, Fusi sneaked into the home of the center's newly appointed director and pressed a dark, furry paw against his clothes. "Little Dragon King, we did once fight to the death, after all. Do me a favor and don't dock my pay, okay?"
