Picking Up a Support Is as Easy as Drinking Water

A good friend of Zhou Xu's had recently started pursuing a girl. Worried things might get awkward if they were alone together, he asked Zhou Xu to join them in-game as his wingman.

A recent graduate of the Path of Ruthlessness, Zhou Xu scoffed at this sort of behavior. But after his friend's wheedling and threats, he joined their three-player team anyway.

After their first game, Zhou Xu's impression was that the girl played pretty well. She played the marksman role, and whenever Zhou Xu caught an enemy, she was always right there to follow up.

The second time they played together, Zhou Xu realized she was incredibly even-tempered. Even when her teammates played terribly, she never got on their case. When they fell behind, she quietly farmed and carried the team, and even when they lost, she never let it show on her face.

The third time they played together, Zhou Xu thought she was pretty nice to him, too. She'd give him health packs, give him blue buff, and even go out of her way to rescue him when the enemy team surrounded him.

By the nth time they played together, Zhou Xu had started wondering: what gave his friend the right to pursue her?

Then one day, Zhou Xu logged in, and the girl suddenly invited him to a one-on-one team: Want to play? Just the two of us.

At the same time, a message came in on WeChat.

[Bro, she suddenly deleted me. Can you get in touch with her?]

[What the hell, bro, what happened? I can't reach her either.]

After replying on WeChat, Zhou Xu quickly switched back to the game: Sure, let's play o^^o

A new coworker had repeatedly invited Chi Qing to play games together. After being unable to turn him down any longer, Chi Qing agreed to join his team.

Her coworker wasn't very good, had a bad temper, and always managed to get into arguments with his teammates while playing jungle. Luckily, the support he brought along was great: sharp game sense, decisive at starting team fights, and always protecting Chi Qing when things got dangerous.

Marksmen like them really needed a support like this!

Chi Qing decided to make him hers.
