On the Compatibility of Crime Alley and the Narrows

A high-dimensional reality show setup, and a battle-royale-style RPG featuring childhood friends Jason and Chuuya (in the literal sense)? What a weird thing.

Gotham and Yokohama: two cities with equally chaotic reputations and a remarkably wholesome local culture, straight out of two different fictional worlds.

Crime Alley and the Slab: the most remarkable places in these cities. The former became the birthplace of Batman, while the latter became Yokohama's most iconic landmark all on its own.

Then one day, citizens of both cities were surprised to discover that these places had suddenly disappeared!

So what happened?

"Welcome, everyone, to our no-holds-barred combat competition! Let's give a round of applause to Team Crime Alley and Team Slab!"

An energetic female voice, speaking in both English and Japanese, rang cheerfully over this island pieced together from fragments. For convenience, let's call it "Crime Slab Max"!

But no one cared about those details.

Chuuya Nakahara, the "King of the Sheep," discovered that while he'd been busy scouting, someone had taken the tires off his motorcycle. Or worse, they'd stripped it down until not even the frame was left.

When he furiously tracked down the culprit, he suddenly realized one thing: he didn't speak English.

And so the first meeting between the two big shots who would go on to dominate "Crime Slab Max" and even take on the organizers went like this:

"...H-hello?"

Theme: A battle royale reveals true feelings.
