I Became a God in a Survival Game with Gourmet Food

Jian Biyu is a food blogger. After an accident, she is reborn in another world, where survival is extremely difficult. To stay alive, she has to keep taking part in escape games, evade the vengeful ghosts hunting her, and earn points.

After seeing firsthand how vicious the ghosts are, Jian Biyu gives up all hope.

Killing ghosts is out of the question. All she can do is cook and wait to die.

On a dark, windy night, a dim yellow light glows in the kitchen, and delicious aromas waft from within.

A deathly pale hand reaches out from beneath the table. A red-clad ghost girl with braided pigtails is just about to speak when a freshly made, piping-hot meat bun is shoved into her hand. Jian Biyu looks at her with pity. "Are you hungry? You look so painfully thin. Go ahead and eat. There's more if you want it."

The ghost: "..."

So good.

The tormented spirits imprisoned in the escape games have no hope of release. They have no sense of taste or feeling, and pass their days in a daze. Then Jian Biyu appears, and everything changes.

"Who wants to eat people? Fried chicken is so darn good."

"Aw, I won't stand for any ghost who hasn't tried soup dumplings!"

"What a pathetic taste you have. Hot pot is the absolute best!"

"Country bumpkin. Hamburgers are clearly the tastiest!"

But as all the ghosts eagerly await her next appearance, they realize Jian Biyu has been nowhere to be seen for a long time. Then one day, a ghost timidly posts, claiming to have seen the terrifying Ghost King getting intimate with a human in a dungeon, setting off a heated discussion.

Meanwhile...

Pinned in a corner, Jian Biyu looks weakly at the Ghost King, Lu Cheng. "Please spare me, bro. I can cook, and my food is delicious..."

Lu Cheng smiles meaningfully, leans down, and kisses her before reaching a conclusion: "It really is delicious."
