Surprise! Even Farming Means Competing

Her company went bankrupt, and a health checkup showed severe fatty liver disease.

The competition was fierce at every job she applied for, and she was exhausted from overthinking everything.

Before her liver gave out, Fu Hui decided she was done being an office drone. She'd move to the countryside and farm.

Fu Hui came from generations of city dwellers and knew nothing about farming.

All she had was poetry and distant horizons.

But when she tried to cut grass with a frame saw, reality hit her hard.

It was fine, though.

She needed to stay calm, take care of herself, and cultivate a peaceful mind.

Little by little, she discovered that the people around her were all incredibly capable.

A tech specialist couple who had quit Tencent to move to the countryside, livestream their farming, and sell local produce.

An old man who had never gone to school but invented agricultural machinery.

A young woman who had returned from studying in Africa and raised ostriches on a large scale.

Farming had become a rat race too.

Never mind. Her liver couldn't keep up with the competition.

When it comes to life, health matters most.

She was just here to earn a living, so don't drag her into it.
