Ruling the Eldritch World with a Food System

As a Taotie, Jiang Yinyun had almost tasted every delicacy under heaven.

That is, until she was dropped into a cosmic horror game called the Starworld.

There were new ingredients everywhere, and she was bound to a Gourmet System that gave out recipes.

Jiang Yinyun: Interesting.

In the Starworld, no player could survive for more than three days.

Black goat kids in the woods swallowed players whole;

Giant insectoids tore players apart in an instant;

All the food and water was contaminated, and the piles of bones in the water lurked, ready to drag any thirsty player into the abyss.

The howling of the mountains drove players insane, turning them into puppets of the gods.

The players dropped into the game were exhausted and starving. They saw no hope.

Until a woman named Jiang Yinyun showed up with a kitchen knife and a frying pan. Braving contamination and attacks, she beat the monsters flat, then told them, "What are you afraid of? These things taste great."

Players: ...???

They looked at the delicious dishes before them: braised black goat kid, tender and tasty; insect eggs made into custard that could protect their sanity; piles of bones that obediently started dropping loot after being smashed to pieces...

The game took on a whole new look.

A month later, the monsters, eaten almost to extinction, huddled trembling in a cave. Outside, a woman's icy voice called out:

"My System unlocked a new recipe... Which of you wants to be my ingredient?"

Monsters: QAQ Help...

Niehe knew he was an artificial god of the Starworld. He had been born to corrupt and destroy.

He was bored, and a little lonely.

Then that woman appeared and turned his pocket dimension upside down.

So he drew close to her, studied her, and kept his eyes on her.

At last, she looked his way too. The evil god felt a secret thrill in his heart.

Then she raised her kitchen knife and started sizing him up to see which cut of meat would taste best.

Niehe: Hm...???

1. Real monsters, really eaten.

2. At their core, they are artificial pocket dimensions and artificial monsters, so they can be understood and eaten.

3. The female lead is peerless.

Theme: Eat!!!
