[JoJo's Bizarre Adventure] Tanomoto Koji Stares into the Abyss

I'm an ordinary, world-weary high school student. Unfortunately, I also had to give up the boxing I loved because of an illness, which made me even more fed up with life.

When I discovered that the brother I despised had been replaced by a serial killer, my first reaction wasn't fear or joy. I just felt bored.

After all, it meant I couldn't take revenge on that guy anymore.

I sat on the fifth-floor windowsill. Blood flowed from my wrist like water. I imagined myself leaping like a free bird, but the man who had replaced my brother pulled me back in one swift motion.

"What are you doing? Can't you take better care of yourself?"

The man said I was causing him trouble and berated me mercilessly, yet he dutifully bandaged the wound on my wrist.

I lowered my eyes to watch him work and smiled.

"Ah, it doesn't matter who you are."

Please... stay by my side, 'Brother.'

* Yoshikage Kira out-of-character warning.

* Third-person narration, short story, irregular updates.

* A sibling story to "Kitaue Naoto Doesn't Dare Bend" next door, written to give him a 'decent' ending.
