Pretending to Be Poor

Tu Dongdong is a seasoned face-con, and she falls in love at first sight with an underclassman at university. Thus begins her campaign of relentless pursuit.

The younger student is tall, handsome, and well-built, but he comes from such a poor background that his unchanging old-fashioned bicycle looks completely out of place.

So as not to hurt her sweet junior's feelings by making him feel the sharp class divide, Tu Dongdong's daily dilemma is: #What do I do if my boyfriend almost finds out I'm rich!#

A custom birthday cake costs 8,888. Cheap. Buy it!

But the moment Tu Dongdong gets in front of her junior, she suddenly comes to her senses.

#Urgent! What do I do if I accidentally bought an overpriced cake!#

A brilliant idea strikes Tu Dongdong. She puts on a bashful act: It wasn't expensive. I made it myself.

Until one day, Tu Dongdong wants to take him home to meet her parents, and has no choice but to come clean to the boyfriend she's already managed to win over.

"Actually, my dad is in real estate. The land beneath our feet belongs to our family. My mom is a jewelry tycoon, my older brother is an internet giant, and my older sister just took her sixth company public in the US. With a family like mine, would you still be willing to come home with me?"

You Ye: "Oh."

Tu Dongdong sticks out her bottom lip, her eyes turning red: He's reacting so coldly. He must want to break up with me!
