My new novel, "Transmigrating into the First Emperor's Beloved Beauty," is now available. If you're interested, check it out in my collection, and please add it to yours. Thanks!
Xi He comes from a family of physicians and is also a merchant. She has always looked out for herself.
Unluckily, she transmigrates to the fourth year of Yuanshuo in the Western Han dynasty and becomes a low-ranking female slave in Wei Qing's household.
This is a poor, backward world with no human rights, where the lower classes are oppressed until they can barely breathe. She is locked up and forced to work in a small courtyard, her body marked with whip wounds. Every day is bleak, and she sees no hope.
That year, Huo Qubing is only fifteen. Since he is very close to his uncle, he lives at the Wei residence as well.
He is handsome, clever, and quick-witted. He has always been a favorite of Liu Che, and at such a young age he is already an attendant to the Son of Heaven, entering the palace to take part in court affairs.
Xi He comes from a later era, so she knows who Huo Qubing is.
A famous figure in history, a young general.
He is a powerful nobleman with extraordinary abilities and astonishing good fortune, one of the handful of people at the very summit of this world's power.
But slaves and imperial nobles are worlds apart. He is utterly out of reach, and Xi He never imagines they will have anything to do with each other.
But sometimes fate works in mysterious ways.
On a moonlit night, the air cool as water, stars filling the sky, cold moonlight spilling across the earth, she climbs the only crooked tree in the courtyard. She accidentally falls out of the courtyard, where she comes face to face with an incomparably handsome young man, so beautiful he seems otherworldly.
His voice is cool. "What's your name?"
She answers, "Your servant is Xi He."
And from that day on, Xi He has a new master: Huo Qubing.
But someone who has seen the light cannot endure the darkness.
She doesn't want to be a slave, to be abused, or to die.
She wants power and status. She wants to stand in a high position and control her own fate.
Thankfully, she succeeds in the end.
Because she comes from a family of physicians, knows medicine, and can identify poisons and their antidotes;
Because she studied science and engineering, is knowledgeable and well-read, and possesses the technology of later generations, standing on the shoulders of giants;
And because she uses Huo Qubing...
Xi He rises from a low-ranking female slave to become a maidservant at Huo Qubing's side, then uses him to get close to the emperor and fights for power at court as a woman... She is no good person.
Ever since transmigrating, she has been pretending.
Pretending to be timid, pretending to be weak, pretending to be a little white rabbit, all to win sympathy and affection.
But her target is Huo Qubing, who was made a marquis at seventeen, recovered the Hexi Corridor, and drove the Xiongnu all the way to the shores of Lake Baikal. His military achievements are dazzling, and his name will be remembered for all time.
Her little schemes were probably obvious to him at a glance, but he never exposed her.
At first, when she was so attentive to him, Huo Qubing said, "I only know she came for fame and profit. That's enough for me."
Later, he smiled and said, "I fell in love with my wife at first sight."
Reading guide:
1. Both leads are each other's first and only partners, one-on-one romance. The early part focuses on farming and development, the later part on court politics. Her identity will be exposed, and the story has a happy ending.
2. Huo Qubing's character is based on my own impression of him. That's why I wrote this novel. It's a self-indulgent work written for my own enjoyment.
3. The male and female leads each have their own careers, and their work doesn't overlap. Even when the female lead goes to the battlefield later, she doesn't intrude on the male lead's big moments.
4. I started writing this on impulse to satisfy my own tastes, so I didn't do enough research at the beginning. I'm also not a history major, so there are bound to be errors and omissions. I previously stopped writing to do a major revision, but some mistakes are already woven into the plot and can no longer be fixed. Please take this as a warning.
5. This is a Mary Sue romance, and the heroine has a particularly powerful golden finger. Don't overthink it!
Coming soon: "The Frail Beauty's Days of Pretending to Be a Mystic in the Western Han"
Ye Shuifu x Wei Qing
Ye Shuifu is frail and sickly, so she has no choice but to live with her grandparents in their home in the lush, mountainous region of Lingnan. There, she learns a knack for fortune-telling and divination.
Then one day, while gathering herbs in the mountains, she is struck by lightning and sent to the Western Han dynasty.
To stay alive, Ye Shuifu has no choice but to pretend to be a mystic, reading fortunes for people. Her readings are so uncannily accurate that the young emperor summons her to Chang'an.
At the time, Liu Che is bold and carefree, harboring great ambitions. He nods and asks her, "You don't look very old. If you have the ability, why not read the fortunes of everyone at this hunting ground and tell me who has the makings of a great general?"
Everyone present turns to look at Ye Shuifu, secretly hoping her prophecy will point to them.
But her gaze passes over the dignitaries at the hunting ground and the assembled young talents, settling instead on a groom from the Pingyang Marquis's household, standing far away on the outskirts and watching the horses.
Ye Shuifu's voice rings out clearly. "In the future, he will become the great general who drives out the Xiongnu and recovers the Hetao Plain."
Liu Che raises an eyebrow. "Wei Qing?"
Ye Shuifu immediately nods. "Yes, him."
Liu Che summons Wei Qing and smiles happily. "Look at that, this girl has as good an eye as I do. She's not the fraud you suspected her of being."
Hearing this, Ye Shuifu's eyes widen. She turns to Wei Qing with reproach. "You called me a fraud?"
Wei Qing: "..."
As foretold, Wei Qing later wins every battle without a single defeat and becomes a revered god of war.
After meeting the emperor that day, Ye Shuifu stays in Chang'an.
She meets Zhang Fuyan, Sang Hongyang, Zhang Qian... and witnesses countless exceptional talents emerge, each writing their own legend in this great age.
Ye Shuifu also uses her knowledge of history to predict natural disasters and save countless lives and livelihoods, earning everyone's respect.
Later, Ye Shuifu's health grows worse and worse, and she coughs up blood from time to time. Seeing how little time she has left, she feels content to have lived all these extra years after transmigrating.
Then she realizes that things are starting to go wrong, as if the whole world is trying to ruin her good name.
Liu Che stands by her sickbed, watching the imperial physicians sweat with fear, and flies into a rage. "If Fu'er dies, none of you will live either. You can all die with her."
Ye Shuifu: "... Please, Your Majesty, calm down!"
No, don't make her responsible for more deaths! She's just an ordinary person. How could she possibly deserve this?
Wei Qing silently keeps watch by her side, seeming to stare her into blooming like a flower. "The Xiongnu are already defeated. If you cruelly leave me, I will follow you in life or death."
Ye Shuifu: "Don't talk about life and death. It's terribly unlucky..."
Waaah, he's talking as if he wants to die with her. How terrifying.
"..."
And so, though Ye Shuifu had already accepted her fate, she simply doesn't dare die anymore. She's afraid that once she is gone, the butterfly effect of her transmigration will send emperors and generals into a frenzy and throw everything into chaos. She stubbornly hangs on, year after year.

Premise: Make your own way in the world through your own abilities.
Good guy, Lao Liu is ordering food.
I guess we can go back to modern times together.
Ah, I've known this before, haha
I always feel that the heroine is really careful enough, but her living habits cannot be changed all at once. After all, she is not an acting person, but if the heroine has such medical skills and really falls into that situation, she will still commit suicide.
It should be said that Huo is not in his prime now. If he were the last Great Sima Hussar General, Zhuzhu might let him marry the princess as his consort.
Huo Wuji arrived, it must be Wufeng
Gunpowder is actually more beneficial for sieges
I want to see Xiaohe talk about the story of the future~
This chapter made my blood boil. This is why I like to read movies about ancient times and our future generations. I want my ancestors to see the peace and prosperity of our future generations. I also want to change the regrets of the past... And I also want them to see our national pride.
Can you write about the cyclorama movie in the extra episode?
