In the Infinite World,

Gu Qing looked at the monster on the verge of death and sighed. "Poor thing. It needs proper care. If I give you an item, can you heal it?"

Li Yizhou: "I can... but this is already the ninth monster you've picked up this month."

While everyone else playing the games was being chased by ghosts and monsters...

Gu Qing: What's that? Looks useful. I'll take it!

Gu Qing: What's that monster? Looks like it can be saved. I'll give it to Li Yizhou!

Gu Qing picked up a junk item, and countless images suddenly flashed through his mind. His vision went black, and he fell backward.

Li Yizhou held a monster in one arm and caught Gu Qing with the other.

Li Yizhou: "Are you okay?"

Gu Qing: "...I'm, I'm fine."

It was just that the arm around his waist was a tiny bit too tight.

Ling Luli was pulled into a strange castle, where he saw an ugly, bizarre monster clapping its hands at him.

"Surprise! Welcome to the Screaming Castle!"

Ling Luli: ...Hello, goodbye!

Ling Luli turned to leave, but in the end he couldn't get away. The monster wanted him to become an NPC in the castle. It claimed it meant no harm and even managed a humanlike, sinister smile.

Ling Luli: So ugly. I need to wash my eyes.

Ling Luli stayed in the Screaming Castle as an inconspicuous NPC... Except there was no way he could be inconspicuous. The monster gave him a room full of all sorts of Halloween decorations: a goat's head, Frankenstein's monster, vampires... It had everything, making it impossible for him to go unnoticed!

Ling Luli: Seal broken, time to let loose and have fun!

The Screaming Castle had countless rooms, each with its own pocket space. As an NPC in the castle, Ling Luli's job was to clean them out.

At first, Ling Luli couldn't quite bring himself to do it, until he learned that the people entering the rooms were all bad people...

Ling Luli: Awaken, the hunt begins!

Inside one of the rooms, Ling Luli met a man who provoked him, got in his way, and mercilessly used the rules to eliminate his teammates.

Because of this man, Ling Luli was punished by the castle's master more than once. Ling Luli figured he had a score to settle with him!

The two fought back and forth, and by chance, Ling Luli discovered that the man could not only travel between rooms, but also seemed to have another identity!

In a dim room, tentacles stretched out from behind the curtain and wrapped around Ling Luli's arms and legs, leaving him unable to escape.

"Damn it, you bastard! Let me go!"

"Heh heh, little Luli, you're so cute when you react like that. How could I possibly let you go?"

The tall man sat on the throne behind the curtain, a malicious smile curling his lips. He watched Ling Luli dangle in midair, wrapped in tentacles. A flash of red passed through his deep-set eyes. He licked his lips. They felt a little dry, and he really wanted to kiss Ling Luli.
