[Expected CP: Koto]
Here's what happened: I was a character in a bootleg game, one of those stitched-together SSR cards. One day, I became self-aware.
Then that awful game company sweet-talked and tricked me into signing a contract.
And somehow, the contract was for world peace.
So I was sent to the Black Organization. Decades later, the Organization sent me to police academy. After graduation, the Japanese Public Security almost sent me back to the Organization. In the end, thanks to the combined efforts of me, the Organization, and Public Security, I wound up in prison.
A four-way spy.
Well, why shouldn't prison count as another faction?
I had no choice but to tell Scotland, who had lost his memory and whom I'd disguised so that only his distinctive cat eyes remained, "This is my accomplice."
And just like that, we settled into prison in style.
My daily routine was hiding and hoarding contraband right under the guards' noses, occasionally trading things like batteries, flashlights, screws, and wire, and looking after my amnesiac fellow academy student. Life was pretty comfortable.
Then one day, Gin, a big shot in the Organization, landed in prison.
My eyes went wide. Before long, I received orders from the Organization to help him escape, and orders from Public Security to keep an eye on him and make sure he didn't escape.
Wow, they really think a lot of me.
I'm just an innocent little white-haired kitty. (In that kind of voice.)
But before I could do anything, my Public Security boss somehow ended up in here too.
Me: ?
What's going on, Furuya? I really won't help him escape. Even if we absolutely have to break out, I'll turn him to our side first.
A couple days later, my police academy classmate showed up too.
I couldn't hide my confusion anymore. What, are you two here to defuse a bomb?
Turns out I jinxed it, because before long, the prison really did blow up.
You bomb-wielding bastard, threatening to get revenge on the police but blowing up my prison instead! Just you wait! I won't be called Fujiwara Rei if I don't beat you until you're half paralyzed! Even if that bomb did help me escape with five other people.
Wait, why am I escaping with five people? And one of them is Gin!
Reader's Guide: 1. For now, expect chaotic prison life, but there should also be flashbacks. Fujiwara joined the Organization too early, so everyone else is a kid to him.
2. Fujiwara and Furuya's names are written with the same characters but pronounced differently. But then Furuya's nickname got in the way... It's nothing, really. The distillery might just end up with a "Lord Zero," cough.
Core Theme: Justice always prevails.
