The Edogawa Detective Agency Is Open for Business

[Updates are irregular for now. I'll revise the announcement when I have time. I'll update when I've written more. I'm taking some time off to rest and recover TT] The quick transmigration bureau's "Snow Eagle" was sent to a small world to earn money. To make things easier for him, the bureau gave him an ability card for [Edogawa Ranpo, Bungo Stray Dogs]. Bai Jiu, a rookie at the bureau who was new to the job and living the good life, had no idea what Bungo Stray Dogs was, so he put it aside. A mystery novelist? Got it. This was his cue to drum up publicity, open a detective agency, and make some money! The Edogawa Detective Agency was up and running in no time. The boss, who had intended to make him a genius detective: ??? Using his status as Ran's distant cousin, Bai Jiu followed her to the doctor's house and scooped up little Conan, who had just shrunk. "Edogawa! Look, we share a surname. Fate itself says you're part of this detective agency!" Hurry up and help me make money. Conan: "?! Waaaah, no!" A novelist without a single published work playing at real-life detective? This isn't a game! But later, he realized that maybe his boss wasn't quite as useless as he seemed. And maybe he wasn't quite so obsessed with money, either. Conan narrowed his eyes. "Bai Jiu, what did you just say about Bourbon?" Bai Jiu, who wanted to lure the King of Part-Timers into working at his detective agency: "Oh, nothing. I said 'ba-bang'! It's an onomatopoeia!" Later, after they somehow teamed up and took down the liquor organization, Bai Jiu looked at the detective agency, which was raking in money thanks to its enormous fame. Bai Jiu: "That works too." ·Once he'd earned enough, "Snow Eagle" planned to return to the bureau. While he was saying goodbye to everyone, someone blocked his way. The blond man in his work uniform wore a warm smile. "Where do you think you're going?" "You still haven't given me an answer about that, have you?" Reader's Guide: ·As always, the blurb only covers part of the story (there's no room for more!), so please treat it as a reference. Read the novel for the full picture. Ranpo from Bungo Stray Dogs and other anime characters will appear. ·The pairing is with Toru. This is a lone-wolf Toru story, so there is no rescue mission, but everyone is alive and takes part in the story. ·The subject matter, tropes, kinks, and writing style of this work are all niche. Please decide for yourself whether to read it. ·I often revise and adjust the story. I am not responsible for differences from pirated versions. ·As usual, there is OOC characterization and plot-hole logic. If you can't stand it, please leave; everyone will be happier. ·A more detailed reader's guide is in the author's note of Chapter One. Please don't hide the author's notes (you can turn them off after reading). A friendly reminder for those reading further down: Some comments on this work may upset readers who are enjoying the story. I recommend turning off the comments for the first fifty chapters, especially if you reach a part you love and want to open the comments to find people who feel the same. Try to resist, kisses! I hope none of my angels get upset by the comments while reading (hands together in prayer). Theme: Kindness spreads from person to person, and helps us heal each other.
