Not Crossing the Spring Breeze

The stars and moon turn, and dynasties rise and fall. This is no longer the era she once lived in.

When she opens her eyes, she is in a ruined temple. Her frail body and unfamiliar face remind Ying Yutang that the slaughter on the battlefield is all in the past.

A strange celestial phenomenon sends a falling star streaking across the sky, heralding an ill omen. A treasure map that once plunged the world into chaos and beguiled emperors has reappeared in fragments.

Fortunately, no one in this world knows where it came from.

Ying Yutang must find it before anyone else, lest chaos engulf the world again.

When Ying Yutang leaves Fahua Temple, she has nothing with her. To get to the bottom of things, she sells pancakes by day and vaults over walls and rooftops by night.

Mysterious cases happen to occur wherever she goes, drawing the attention of Wei Pei, a junior minister of the Dali Court.

Ying Yutang: This is getting pretty hard to explain.

After many twists and turns, they solve mysterious cases together and set out for the same destination.

As they grow closer, Ying Yutang realizes that beneath Wei Pei's aloof, proud exterior lies a heart that is both passionate and restrained.

The only problem is that he's a little too delicate and frail to take a beating.

Theme: Forge ahead bravely, undaunted by wind and rain.
