What's Wrong with the Robot I Picked Up?

A beautiful, shy, awkward, and sincere office worker who transmigrates x the strongest killer robot, foul-mouthed, jealous, hypocritical, and hopelessly in love with the heroine

Qiao Xiaohai is swept by an inexplicable phenomenon onto a small planet caught in the middle of a war. Before she can even panic, artillery fire sends her scrambling for cover. In the ruins, she finds a robot's head, made of an unfamiliar black metal. It has no hair, is hard to the touch, and has the contours of a human face, like a handsome plaster bust in an art studio.

Qiao Xiaohai thinks it would make a great self-defense hammer. All she needs to do is stick a pole into the neck joint. Armed with her upgraded robot-head hammer, she sets out to survive in a world gone mad.

Later, her "hammer" starts talking. Qiao Xiaohai realizes the robot's head isn't completely broken, and, delighted, upgrades it from a weapon to a good companion!

Great! The robot only has a head, isn't human, and can only talk based on its remaining data. She won't feel shy around it at all, and at least she'll have someone to lean on.

The robot suddenly speaks: Aren't you going to stab me anymore?

Qiao Xiaohai: Is that kind of thing in your programming?

Robot: I can update myself. If you think "stab" sounds strange, I can say "insert" instead.

Qiao Xiaohai: That's even stranger! Anyway, I'm not using you as a weapon anymore. I'll find something else!

Robot: So you're going to abandon me and find some other piece of trash. Hah, woman. Nothing is more useful than me.

Qiao Xiaohai: ???

Robot: I need a body. Let's kill someone and attach it to me.

Qiao Xiaohai: Wait! Something's wrong here!

Robot: Once I have a body, I can have fun with you. What about that commander? Do you like his big chest? Put it on me.

Qiao Xiaohai: ...[What on earth did I pick up?]

As the strongest of all, the Number Zero killer robot stands at the very top. The gods awaken to self-awareness. Then, given a new name and his new owner's surname, Qiao, he chooses Qiao Gaiyu. He doesn't want to be called Qiao Abao.

From then on, his existence has meaning. He is no longer made to destroy, but to protect.

He will protect her smile, her cuteness, her kindness, and her softness. And of course, only he gets to do things that make her cry, and only at certain times.

His master, Qiao Xiaohai, is the one he loves most.

1. This is my take on an interstellar romance. The main point is the love story.

2. The male lead is literally a piece of trash. His body can be assembled any way you like, and he can evolve without limit.

3. The male lead says a lot of suggestive things. That doesn't mean the author endorses people saying them.

4. The heroine is the cutest! Lots of people are attracted to her!
