Contract Partner

Lou Yu broke into the entertainment industry with his handsome face and fluid action scenes. His motto was basically: as long as he could feed himself, he didn't care about anyone else.

He was always saying, "As long as I get paid, don't starve to death, and can still have fun, I'm good!"

But his agent, Mu Qiancheng, didn't see it that way. Agent Mu's rule was: "You chose this line of work, so if it doesn't kill you, you keep swallowing it down. Don't even think about putting your chopsticks down!"

And so the two were almost always caught up in a game of "he runs, he chases, and the other can't escape."

But no one knew that in private, Lou Yu and Mu Qiancheng had signed a secret contract. To escape family-arranged marriages for business interests, they had agreed to pretend to be each other's lovers.

So, in front of the cameras, they were a golden duo; at family banquets, they were fake lovers. But the moment they turned around, they couldn't stand each other.

However, some acts become real when you keep playing them.

Lou Yu: Bro, who was it that said we'd stay out of each other's business?

Mu Qiancheng: ...Me.

Lou Yu: Who said we were just using each other, and that getting serious would ruin the fun?

Mu Qiancheng: ...Me.

Lou Yu: Who said he only agreed because I was good-looking, and otherwise there was no way someone like me would ever get to date Agent Mu...

Mu Qiancheng: ...That was me too.

Lou Yu: And who said...

Mu Qiancheng: Keep running your mouth and you'll be sleeping in the warehouse tonight!

Lou Yu: Bro... You don't love me anymore...

Mu Qiancheng: (Pulls back the covers to make room) I do, I do, I do!!
