The Mechanical Prodigy

[Blurb not finished yet. Leaving an idea here for now. 2023.2.15]

An experiment explodes, and Shi Luo is reborn in the years before a high-dimensional mechanical civilization invades Earth.

At the time, he's an underachieving engineering student at an ordinary university. He goofs off in class every day and has no ambition beyond skating by.

[Death-Mechanism has been bound. Assessment commencing: Do carbon-based life forms possess the ability to continue their existence?]

In five years, an assessment from a high-dimensional mechanical civilization will suddenly arrive.

Earth will enter polar survival mode, and all carbon-based life forms unable to fuse with biological machinery will be forcibly removed.

To make these arrogant mechanical beings get lost, gain a voice in the mechanical sciences, and warn his country and Earth in time, Shi Luo begins studying around the clock, neglecting food and sleep. He devotes everything he learned over two lifetimes to the field of mechanical engineering.

(The description may be revised later, but this is roughly how the story will unfold.)
