A Collection of Nonhuman Tales

The carp demon Jiang Yu was leaping through the Dragon Gate when a cultivator next door, undergoing a tribulation, accidentally dragged him into it. The moment he leaped through the gate, a bolt of heavenly lightning knocked him unconscious. When he woke up, he discovered that he had transmigrated to an interstellar world.

Jiang Yu was badly injured and had no choice but to reveal his fish tail. He thought people would mistake him for a demon and beat him to death on the spot. Instead, a group of researchers mistook him for a merperson and excitedly crowded around him, shouting.

Since they hadn't laid a hand on him, he supposed being called a merperson was fine. It was just like being given a foreign name.

After watching footage of the merpeople at the research base, all dressed up and enjoying a feast, Jiang Yu thought he would return with them and spend a happy, restful time recovering. But...

Hey! I'm a freshwater fish! Why are you pouring seawater into my pond?

Freshwater fish demons can only attack with sound waves. We really can't sing the kind of foreign fish songs that heal the spiritual sea!

Thanks for asking! I'm a bona fide river fish! I'm allergic to seafood! Stop dumping sea cucumbers, abalone, and crabs into my pond, then asking why I won't eat them and why I'm breaking out in bumps!

And another thing! Goldfish don't have a mating season! We can't get pregnant! Stop trying to set me up with someone!

Wait, this potential partner looks familiar. Isn't he the unlucky guy who insisted on undergoing his tribulation beside my pond, causing me to fail my leap through the Dragon Gate and transmigrate?

And why does the dragon aura on you feel so familiar?! Give me back what belongs to me!

No childbearing. The fact that the recipient's dragon aura is in the gong's body is an accident. I'll slowly make up the reason as the story goes on.

Theme: Don't be afraid of difficulties. If we keep trying and searching, we'll always find a path to success.
