After the Pretty One Was Sacrificed to the Evil Dragon

[Warning: The top is dark-skinned; the bottom is a little rascal.]

Shen Nian woke up to find himself a young bride being sacrificed to a dragon.

According to legend, the dragon was ugly and savage, and liked to hide deep in a damp, freezing cave, gobbling up living people like little snacks.

Shen Nian: "...QAQ"

Help... me!!!

Shen Nian thought he was going to die, and curled up shivering in the dark cave.

But then things started getting a little strange.

Like the fresh fruit and sweet dew that appeared out of nowhere.

The dry branches laid over him on cold, damp nights.

The bright eyes watching him from the shadows, cautious yet intent...

At last, Shen Nian, who had been treated like a little pet, worked up the courage to stretch out his little paws toward the darkness...

The legendary dragon with a fearsome face turned out to be a handsome, tall young man. When Shen Nian curiously reached for his antennae, the young man blushed bright red.

Great! He looks even easier to fool than me.

To stay alive, Shen Nian turned into a sweet little cutie.

He begged for hugs and kisses, and asked to be sung to sleep, making the legendary dragon obediently circle around him all day.

At last, Shen Nian got his chance and ran off without looking back.

After leaving the dragon, Shen Nian took advantage of his pretty face and did whatever he pleased, living life to the fullest.

Until he ran into Nan Zhao again.

At a dim alley entrance, the quiet, obedient young man from before tilted his head, his expression obsessive and disturbed.

"Niannian, aren't you coming home?"

"?! QAQ"

Shen Nian stared at him in alarm, preparing to placate the dragon as he had before.

But before he could finish, he was forcibly taken back to the dragon's lair.

Black-blue wings blotted out the sky. The corrupted dragon's cool fingertips traced the side of his pale neck, his voice gentle yet icy.

"Niannian is a little liar."
