My Dead Boss Came Back as a Monster

"They look like they're at each other's throats, but really they're just flirting in a roundabout way."

[World-weary, pretty straight male office worker uke x well-mannered, depraved monster seme]

Shen Ji hates his boss.

The man is the chairman's grandson: rich, powerful, tall, handsome, and immensely popular. Even the girl Shen Ji has secretly loved for ages likes him.

Shen Ji, on the other hand, is world-weary and gloomy, stingy and jealous, petty and conceited. He is the complete opposite of Ji Nanchuan at the company.

Countless times, he wished in his heart that the man would die.

Then Ji Nanchuan really did die.

When he heard the news, Shen Ji felt a little wistful.

Though he didn't care about the man's death, he went to the funeral with his colleagues out of basic decency, even putting on a hypocritical show of grief with a couple of sighs.

Sorry, Ji Nanchuan. Since you're dead now, it wouldn't be too much for me to get promoted, earn a raise, and make a move on the person you like, right?

He just didn't expect that the afternoon he returned from the funeral, someone would knock on his door.

Through the peephole, he saw his dead boss standing there, completely intact, calling his name in the same voice as always.

"Shen Ji."

That is, if you ignore the water dripping from his body and the pitch-black eyes with no whites.

Ji Nanchuan has a subordinate he can't stand.

The man is gloomy and miserly, vain and jealous, disobedient, always causing trouble, and full of malice toward his boss.

They can't stand the sight of each other. Ji Nanchuan thinks that even if he dies, he doesn't want to spend any more time with Shen Ji.

Then he really does die.

The only way to stay alive is to feed on other people's emotions, such as hatred and jealousy.

And among those who came to mourn him, Shen Ji's emotions were especially intense.

Watching the pretty, pale man tremble with fear while wearing an annoyed expression, Ji Nanchuan admits that the wicked impulse buried deep in his heart has found a satisfying outlet.

Sure enough,

he won't leave Shen Ji alone even as a ghost.

P.S. The seme doesn't like anyone except the uke.
