My Husband, Ten Years Younger Than Me, Can Catch Ghosts

When Han Ziyu, the seventh young master of the Han family in the capital, was eight, he came down with a strange illness. The Han family rushed him all over China and abroad, consulting countless experts, but nothing worked.

Then, on the day Han Ziyu was about to die, an old Daoist priest showed up at their door. He said Han Ziyu had an exceptionally tough fate, and that if he wanted to live, they had to find someone with an even tougher fate to suppress it.

The Han family had no choice but to try anything in their desperation.

"Where are we supposed to find someone like that?"

The old Daoist said, "You don't need to look. When it comes to having a tough fate, no one can beat my apprentice."

The Han family was about to throw him out on the spot. But after the old Daoist burned Han Ziyu's birth details together with a piece of yellow paper, Han Ziyu miraculously woke up.

From then on, Jiang Daxian became Han Ziyu's fiance.

Life in the countryside was hard. When Jiang Daxian turned seventeen, the old Daoist called the Han family and asked them to bring Jiang Daxian to the capital for school.

To show their respect, all seven Han brothers waited at home to welcome him on the day he arrived.

The first thing Jiang Daxian said was completely outrageous: "That's amazing! Auntie in my village told me that back in the eighties, they were really cracking down on people having too many children. Your mom had so many, but she never got taken away to be sterilized?"

The Han family: "…"

Han Ziyu looked at his fiance, who still had baby fat on his face and was about the same age as his nephew, and his eyelid started twitching violently.

Little scene:

Jiang Daxian: "So you're my fiance! You're really handsome. You're just a little old, but don't worry, I don't mind. I heard people say that when the woman is three years older, it's like holding three gold bricks. I'm holding three gold bricks! That's great."

Han Ziyu: "But I mind that you're young."

"Huh?" Jiang Daxian was stunned. "What don't you like about me? I'm excellent in every way except at school."

"I don't like that you're bad at school," Han Ziyu said, striking a fatal blow. "I don't like slackers."

Jiang Daxian: "But people also say big bosses like dating fresh-faced seventeen- or eighteen-year-old boys and young models. I'm exactly seventeen, so you're the one getting the better deal. And you still don't like me? What a waste of those eyes of yours."

Han Ziyu: "…"

Theme: Even slackers can be incredibly awesome.
