New upcoming story: "The Blind Mogul's Moonlight", blurb below.
As the only daughter of the Yan family, Yan Nianyi had been doted on since childhood. Whatever she wanted, her family would go to any lengths to put it in her hands. But, of all people, she fell for the woman who seemed gentle on the surface, yet whose eyes held a distant chill.
To win the woman's smile and earn a word of praise, the pampered and willful Miss Yan hid her true nature and pretended to be gentle and well-mannered, all so the woman might look at her a little longer.
"Sis, work must be exhausting. Let me massage your shoulders."
"Sis, I made you some soup. Try it."
The act she put on led Yue Yi to believe all along that Yan Nianyi was a gentle, refined girl.
But then, one day in the restroom at a banquet, Yue Yi happened to overhear Yan Nianyi on the phone with someone else.
The familiar smile was gone from the young woman's face. Her eyes were full of disdain.
The woman lowered her phone and traced her reflection in the mirror with a finger, gazing down at it in a lovestruck daze. "Sis, you'll only ever be mine."
*
Yue Yi found herself pursued by the Yan family's young heiress, and yet she willingly fell into her advances, instinctively indulging her every move.
She watched Yan Nianyi persist, even standing outside her door looking hurt. "Sis, are you still mad at me?"
"Sis, will you let me take care of you?"
Only after feeling the young woman's ardent affection did Yue Yi finally realize that she could no longer leave her.
Held in the young woman's arms, she felt a hand glide across her face as the woman gazed at her with infatuation and claimed her in a husky voice:
"Sis, you're mine."
*
"Sis, I waited in line forever to buy that just for you." Yan Nianyi looked aggrieved. "But you gave it to someone else."
"I'm sorry, I didn't know. Let me make it up to you, okay?" Yue Yi coaxed her patiently.
"No." Yan Nianyi turned away, deliberately sulking and refusing to speak to her.
A few minutes passed, and Yan Nianyi still hadn't heard a word from her. She cautiously turned around, only to meet the woman's gentle gaze.
"Are you still sulking, little one? How about I get you something else to make it up to you?"
*
"Sis, I like you so much."
"I like you, too."
"Sis, there are so many stars out tonight."
"Be good. We'll look at them when we get home."
Coming soon: "The Blind Mogul's Moonlight"
Mu Xiqing is the unloved eldest daughter of the Mu family. After her mother dies, her father quickly brings his mistress into the house and marries her, along with the woman's son, who is a year younger than Mu Xiqing.
That same year, the century-old Duan family suddenly proposes a marriage alliance with one of the Mu children. The Mu family doesn't dare refuse the powerful Duans.
Rumor has it Duan Xunshuang is sinister, cold, and twisted. The last person who got engaged to her was tortured until they were barely recognizable, then died by suicide.
Mu Xiqing's father can't bear to see his son suffer that fate, so he plans to send Mu Xiqing in his place.
When Mu Xiqing hears about it, she simply gives her hypocritical father a faint nod. "I'll leave it all to you, Father."
She has heard that although Duan Xunshuang is ruthless, the century-old Duan family once promised that anyone who officially married her would be granted a wish.
And Mu Xiqing happens to need that wish.
She wants to bring the Mu family, responsible for her mother's death, crashing down for good.
Mu Xiqing is sent to the Duan family.
When she sees the solemn buildings all around her, she can't help trembling with fear at the thought of the woman from the rumors.
She clenches her fists to encourage herself, silently reminding herself, "I only have to hold on until we're married."
After a servant leads her into a dim room, she sees the legendary woman for the first time.
The woman's face is cool and noble, and a strip of silk covers her eyes.
As if sensing Mu Xiqing's arrival, she smiles faintly, unexpectedly gentle. "I'm sorry to trouble you during this time."
*
After an accident damaged Duan Xunshuang's eyes, she was left nearly blind. Her grandfather, desperate to help his beloved granddaughter, tried countless methods, but none could fully cure her.
Later, he somehow came across a folk remedy: someone whose name included the character for water had to take care of her, and in time she would regain her sight.
When Duan Xunshuang heard, she merely smiled faintly, thinking her grandfather was superstitious.
But when she heard the name of her intended, she agreed.
A little superstition now and then might not be so bad.
When Mu Xiqing appeared before her, the eyes covered by the silk showed faint signs of improvement.
She wanted to take a good look at the person she thought about day and night.
"If I marry you, you'll grant me a wish, right?" Mu Xiqing asked, her voice trembling almost imperceptibly. It was the first thing she said to her.
"If it's within my power," Duan Xunshuang replied gently.
*
Later, Mu Xiqing discovered that Duan Xunshuang was nothing like the rumors. Beneath her cool, noble exterior was a burning heart.
A heart full of love for her.
Mu Xiqing looked at the woman sitting beside her and lost herself for a moment.
Later still, the woman, her eyesight restored, brought the Mu family to ruin with a wave of her hand. Then she leaned lazily against Mu Xiqing and asked in a warm voice, "I still haven't asked what wish you want."
As if possessed, Mu Xiqing answered, "I want you."
"As you wish."

The brother who co-wrote is a victim. After all, he is his closest relative. Although I understand writing about the heroine's favorite, the brother is also the biological brother. You can't deny it if you don't recognize it. I think the brother's emotions are normal. His handling method is really wrong, but it can't be written like that. The brother is like an outsider in the family. You can write that they reconciled later and stopped showing up when there is no need. Real relatives will not be like this. The brother helped him so much. In the end, he broke up with his brother because of a few words. This is really outrageous. Writing about a girl's favorite, but you can't just say that the father doesn't love the mother and the brother doesn't love the brother. It's really unfair to the brother. The brother is obviously so good. In the end, in the eyes of the family, he is a villain who hinders the sister. I really liked this movie at first. Later, when I saw my sister talking to her brother like that, I really regretted watching it. My brother is a biological brother and a biological son. How could he just break it off?
I think it's okay to delete the brother's dissatisfaction and replace it with the brother privately telling his sister that he is worried about her. Only the brother looks down on her and the whole family is speechless. This seems a bit unnecessary. I think this approach is also inconsistent with the brother's identity.
Woo woo woo, I watched it again, it was really good, I read it a second time woo woo woo
Good-looking, good-looking, good-looking 🐰[purple sugar]kswl
The first one looked good, the second one made me feel that this story line is not perfect later.
