From the Asylum to the World of Cultivation

[Synopsis]

Gu Ke, whose surname is Gu and given name is Ke, is mentally ill and lives in a psychiatric hospital.

One day, while out for a walk, he was hit and killed by a car. When he woke up, he found himself inside a novel. And, perhaps because the author was out of their mind, the ending had every named character die except the main villain, who went insane too.

Luckily, he wasn't the main villain, so he wouldn't go crazy.

Unfortunately, he was that unlucky villain's master. The author had glossed over his ending in a single sentence, saying the villain went mad and hacked him to death, without any context at all. In short, he was a disposable extra among disposable extras.

So he decisively chose to kill the villain first.

On a rainy day, in a muddy alley, Gu Ke found the child in the wilderness, covered in blood and lying on the ground. Rainwater and blood mingled on the earth, flowing all the way to his feet.

The child pressed his pale lips together, his stubborn yet clear eyes fixed on him.

Gu Ke bent down and stroked the child's head, gently and carefully. Just as the child was about to say something, Gu Ke thrust his sword into the boy's heart without a moment's hesitation.

"Don't be afraid... You won't suffer anymore..."

That was the last thing Yu Zhuo heard before closing his eyes.

But Yu Zhuo came back to life, crawling out of a pile of corpses.

Five years later, countless cultivators came to seek immortality. Cen Xi sat high among the clouds, looking down at the familiar face in the crowd.

At that moment, Yu Zhuo looked up too. As their eyes met, Gu Ke let out a soft sigh.

"Is this the villain's halo?"
