Infinite Flow, but I'm a Spectator

1. After being injured in an incident, Ye Yunzhou is lucky enough to discover a livestream only he can see. Countless scenes and characters flicker before his eyes, affecting reality at the same time. Buildings warped out of shape, violent winds, the earth collapsing… The strange disasters plaguing the real world all originate from things in displaced timelines. After stumbling into an Infinite livestream, Ye Yunzhou becomes the only viewer in reality who can communicate with the streamers. 2. After Wu You dies, he becomes a rookie streamer in the Infinite world. He is thrown into the most difficult special instance right from the start. Everywhere he looks, there are unfamiliar beings. As the only newcomer, no matter how hard he tries, it seems he can't change the ending. As his consciousness sinks into darkness and is about to vanish, he sees a gentle light [☆I'll help you.] Starlight trails behind the words, just like the morning star that once hung high in the night sky of his memories. Whenever he paused in the darkness, he could always see this brightest star, keeping him company through his most desperate and difficult times. This time is no different. In an unfamiliar world where he belongs nowhere, he is watched over by a star that favors him. After that, everything changes. 3. Wu You is hailed as a monstrous newcomer who appeared out of nowhere. He is ruthless and speaks little, a high-sensitivity player who relies on instinct. While everyone else is still utterly confused, he often strikes straight at the heart of the matter, racks up performance points, and actively challenges the high-difficulty special instances everyone else avoids. Again and again, he earns astonishingly high scores. Even though he's aloof and solitary and never explains himself during streams, he still gathers a huge following of fans who admire the strong. That is, until they enter his latest special instance “Sir, why won't you say anything?” “Did I do something wrong?” “…I'll find you.” The newcomer dubbed a cool wolf suddenly makes bold declarations to a mysterious viewer in public. Not only does he interact with the camera and show affection more often than ever before, he even abandons his instance mission for that person. His image is shattered! The cool guy is actually a lovesick fool! He isn't challenging high-difficulty special instances because he wants to reach the top, as his power-worshipping fans thought. He's doing it simply to have a sweet online romance with that mysterious viewer! Watching the instance reach a dead end, the heartbroken fans assume this will probably be Wu You's first failed instance and an indelible stain on his life, until that mysterious viewer appears It is as if they don't belong to any known rules. The instance is about to collapse, yet it freezes one second before the System announces failure. Everything begins to restructure. Then the ending turns around in an instant. Skipping every requirement set by the instance, the System announces a successful clear. Such terrifying authority! The viewers are stunned, then gradually understand. The streamer isn't a lovesick fool at all… They want to cling to a supreme powerhouse who might be the consciousness of an entire plane, too! Please, give them a chance!! But the next second, Wu You blocks the livestream camera. 4. They don't know when their ambiguous feelings first began. They only know that when time and space shifted, they stood face-to-face and embraced across the empty space between them, stealing a rare moment of tenderness. Their understanding of each other, along with their feelings, gradually deepened and intertwined. Friends, partners, and… Through the livestream, Ye Yunzhou gazes absently at the black hair that seems so close and yet remains out of reach. He remembers that the other's head felt soft and fluffy to the touch, a little prickly, like a stubborn puppy. He misses the warmth and closeness of a real embrace, rather than this empty one. But they belong to different worlds, after all. No matter whether they can solve the mystery behind the disasters, they'll never be able to stay together for long in the same world. So perhaps it's fine to leave things as they are. Ye Yunzhou sighs and slowly lowers his eyes. … Ye Yunzhou doesn't know that Wu You is troubled in the same way at that very moment, but far less able to let go. It's nowhere near enough. Wu You lowers his eyes and silently tightens this empty, false embrace, as if trying to press the other person into his own body. The emptiness in his arms clashes utterly with the longing in his heart, stirring up a deep, dark tide within him. He wants a real embrace. He wants a world with the other person in it. - [Reading notes] 1. Not a traditional Infinite story; the mystery-solving is not the main focus. 2. Younger gong, 23 × 18. The great thing about a younger gong is that it's really great (you know). 3. A story about a couple dating across time and space online and saving the world (not really). 4. The names and overall blurb have been revised since the coming-soon version, but the core premise is unchanged. Thanks to everyone who added it to their collections! Theme: Love can cross time and space.
