Life on the Road with Fuzzy Companions

In the interstellar age, humans coexist with many fluffy beastfolk, but the divide between their species keeps them apart. Song Xihe looked at the other passenger beside him, utterly bewildered. Had he really just seen a little bunny sucking on a pacifier? The pacifier-sucking bunny cheerfully held up his tiny little foot for Song Xihe to see. “Big Brother! I'll tell you a secret. The fur on the bottom of my left foot is shaped like a heart!” Song Xihe was flattered. “Now that's quite a secret!” From then on, every day Song Xihe shared rides on his way to and from places, he met fluffy little creatures one after another. A tiny kitten going out to buy things for the first time, a family-supporting dog selling coffee on the bus, a chubby little bird who'd boarded the wrong bus and looked completely lost... He helped the fluffy ones retrieve things they'd dropped, got them to their destinations, and even cooked them a meal, then raced into school at the very last second every day. - Song Xihe was the aloof beauty of the Royal Academy. He was gentle and kind, but always ignored those who had a crush on him. Now his family had fallen on hard times, and he had no choice but to lower his noble head... and enter a marriage alliance to pay off their debts. Some people were already imagining their honeymoon with Song Xihe! But those who knew him well understood that his mind worked in mysterious ways and his reactions were slow. Even when someone shoved a rose in his face, all he'd say was, “Thanks, but I'm not buying.” Those aristocrats loved putting on airs and showing off their oppressive power. How could Song Xihe possibly read their minds? Yet even though everyone was rubbing their hands together and chasing after him, Song Xihe started showing up later and later each day. He was skipping school to avoid the marriage alliance. Song Xihe had gone bad! But one piece of news after another would soon shatter everyone's fantasies. The Song family became the food supplier for a fluffy-animal kindergarten. Song Xihe appeared on TV as an ambassador for fluffy beastfolk. Song Xihe got a partner! When someone interviewed him, Song Xihe said shyly, “It all happened thanks to sharing rides.” - When the fluffy Tiger Prince was stranded far from home, he met a gentle beauty. “What a poor little bald kitty. Come over and eat,” the beauty called. The prince, in the middle of his seasonal molt: ...Me? But in the end, the cold prince completely fell for the beauty after hearing him call him “sweetie” again and again. During the competition, Song Xihe was crouched in a corner secretly feeding snacks to the fluffy ones. At some point, the noble prince who was dominating the field had quietly followed him there. He towered over Song Xihe, pinning him in a corner while his cold gaze drove off the human aristocrats sneaking looks at them. Then he lowered his head and spoke: “Didn't you tell your sweetie to come over for dinner? My bowl is still empty.” “Arf.” [An easygoing, gentle, dryly humorous, slow-to-catch-on, irresistible husband of a recipient x a possessive, jealous, self-persuading Dragon Proudly Arrogant Hero who acts like a nobleman in public and a dog in private] 1.
