Little Days in the Forest

The travel diary of the cat next door, with a similar vibe, is now underway!

According to the Forest Fairy Weather Bureau, winter is coming early this year.

When Song Nian heard the news, they worried there wouldn't be enough food to last the winter, so they started stockpiling in earnest.

Pine nuts, walnuts, hazelnuts, and all kinds of fruit, nothing could be left behind!

The Weather Bureau also said that once winter arrived, the lazy gluttons known as the Feimang would start robbing everyone again.

So Song Nian began reinforcing the house and building an iron fortress.

The Weather Bureau also said this winter would be colder than usual.

So Song Nian went out to find a fluffy creature to bring home for warmth.

A short writing exercise. Please forgive the poor writing. Updates at midnight.

Content warnings:

1. A leisurely, slow-paced story focused on food and everyday life.

2. A cozy little forest life, though the forest follows the law of the jungle.

3. Not a traditional beast-world story. Lots of original worldbuilding.

4. Kong × Song Nian. To put it mildly, there's basically no romance. Can be read as having no couple.
