[Ultraman] Mebius, Whom I Secretly Love

*

I had no idea how many years ago I was dropped into the Ultraman universe. I successfully reincarnated on Earth and remembered some things about my past life.

Unfortunately, my life in another world didn’t come with a golden finger or some mysterious System. To achieve my dream, I could only work hard, then work harder, until I could meet them at the very beginning of the story.

It was a long time ago that I realized this world wasn’t just what I’d seen on television. The GUYS insignia on our uniforms represented a heavy responsibility and pressure. Their warm, happy smiles were everything I wanted to protect.

Everything I experienced with them taught me so much.

Even though I foolishly fell in love with that Warrior of Light... and never managed to confess my feelings, maybe that’s okay after all. [It’s fine.jpg]

I knew there would come a day when we had to part, and that I would have a much bigger life ahead of me... But who could have known something like that would happen? And finding out only after I was gone that I’d actually been an absurdly overpowered cheat is some pretty dark humor.

And why is my soul drifting around in space?!

Being trapped by an obsession is a strange thing, isn’t it?

How could something like this happen?

I don’t regret it, but I still haven’t gone home, and I haven’t given them the gifts I prepared.

There are so many things I still want to say... I never even got to say a proper goodbye.

My thoughts are tightly wrapped up in my memories. I can’t leave the room called the past.

I just want to see them again, that’s all.

Several thousand years later, still my soul: Wait, what did you say?! I’m watching a flamboyantly dressed alien fight! I can’t hear you!

“Zamshaa! Don’t fly so fast, ahhhhh!”

Before You Read:

* The main story is in first person. The male lead is Mebius. One-on-one pure love, no other male rivals, and no change of heart. Everyone else is just friends.

* I’m trying to update monthly. See my profile for bonus chapters. Writing for love is hard; I’ll revise the story when I have time. My writing isn’t great, so please go easy on me. Thanks for reading, and enjoy, meow!

Theme: Great love for Mebius!
