Love Showdown: The Scumbag Card

In his past life, Li Hewan trusted the wrong people and fell in with several scumbag tops. They swindled him out of his money, took advantage of him, and broke his heart.

Ji Fengxiao’s previous life was just as rough. He met a few scumbag bottoms, losing his money, his heart, and ultimately his life for them.

Reborn, two strangers received Systems bestowed by the gods and set out to take revenge on scumbag men by turning them into cards. But when their Systems unexpectedly clashed, their fates became intertwined.

[Host L, Host F, use the cards in your hands to battle for love. The loser will suffer a lifetime of misfortune.]

Li Hewan: I won’t lose.

Ji Fengxiao: I will win.

And so a battle for love began...

Reader advisory / content warnings:

1. A master flirt x a playboy, a flirtatious romance with a System-driven dating competition, and a happy ending for the top and bottom. The story has two plotlines: the tops and bottoms’ interactions in the real world (main), and the System’s scumbag-card duels (subplot). The System is a card slot; the scumbag men the tops and bottoms recruit are cards; the duels pit scumbag-top cards against scumbag-bottom cards in dating scenarios.

2. This is a melodramatic romance. The leads’ feelings are fake at first and real later. Neither is exactly a respectable person, so please read with caution if that bothers you.

3. The tops and bottoms represented in the card slots vary, but most of them are scumbags. Please read with caution if that bothers you.

4. The story contains a small amount of fantasy and references to gods and demons.

5. For review purposes, the scumbag cards in this story should not be understood as real people.
